Absolut ett minne för livet. Fantastisk natur och boendet ligger mitt inne i Navajo reservatet. Vi körde en vanlig hyrbil och på sina ställen var det lite nervöst. Men funkar! Vi grillade korv och marshmallovs på kvällen i sällskap med Vernas hundar. Verna var hjälpsam och svarad…

Considered a highlight of a cultural experience! Recommend 2 days/nights stay for full enjoyment. Located in central Monument Valley Tribal Park, very quiet with monument views in all directions and brilliant stars at night! Bed only, no breakfast. No electricity or running water. *Rugged dirt roads* Jeep tours to the backcountry. Follow me on Instagram for more amazing photography and life on the ranch: Monetvalley

We stayed at the hogan for one night and it was such an incredible and magical experience. Verna was incredibly friendly and helpful and told us all about the history of the hogan and Navajo traditions. We kept cosy and warm all night long with a fire inside the hogan including plenty of blankets. The next day we went out on horses which was also organised through our air bnb host and was really special. We 100 percent recommend experiencing staying in a hogan. It’s by far the best way to see monument valley. Thank you for an experience we will never forget.

My friends and I took a week-long trip throughout the Southwest, and this was our FAVORITE part of it all. Verna was so sweet and helpful, even coming down to meet us as we arrived a bit late. This place is out of this world beautiful, and it was such a special experience to be able to stay in the valley.. would definitely recommend.

If you want an experience of a lifetime, do not hesitate to stay at Verna's hogan. Everything is the way she describes it and she is so nice and helpful and sweet. And she makes the best Navajo tacos with homemade fry bread. The road is bumpy to get there but worth it!!!

Staying in Verna's Hogan was such an amazing experience. We stayed for one night in between driving from Zion to Sedona. The Hogan was clean, put together and had everything we needed during our stay. The Hogan is right in the middle of the Monument Valley National Park, so the location could not get any better. I would recommend Verna's beautiful Hogan to anyone that wants an authentic feeling stay in Monument Valley.
