Communication with regards to a broken plantation shutter in the main bedroom was an issue. As any concerns need to be raised before the next guest checks in, and we had a same day check out and check in, communication about issue and potential repair cost was rushed. My partner is very thorough when doing the changeover and believed the shutter not to be broken, as it was significantly broken and very obvious. The video was not refused but the value was questioned if not date and time stamped. Any request for cost of repair was removed before reviews where final. There is nothing with airbnb to settle. We provide a lovely apartment, nicely furnished, hopefully evident through reviews and photos, and so we are concerned when things get broken and we are not told, as we encourage communication and will resolve any issue raised. This was an unfortunate ending to what was otherwise a stay without issue. With regards to the check out message, it is detailed as we do not see guests when checking out. An explanation of the review and star rating is provided, as i have found that when things are good, reviews are not left and they are an important part of the way the airbnb platform works.
