Be at ease in our mountain cabin family home with picture windows showcasing the south Appalachian Mountains. It comfortably fits 6, is tucked away from the sight of neighbors and roads, and is just 8 minutes from the John C Campbell Folk School.
Imagine a tropical beach house crossed with a mountain cabin. We've borrowed some of the flavor from our travels to spice up our home, making it feel like a cup of Chai on a rainy day or a beach Casita in the winter.
The art is whimsical and worldly, the colors bold and bright.
Our space fits up to 6 people who have a sense of humor and like each other's company. The master bedroom includes a queen bed and a full bath. The loft is equipped with a full size futon and a divided wall for a full size air mattress. The entrance room doubles as a cozy nest fitted with a twin daybed.
You will have access to recreate in any space of the house, all sleeping rooms, both bathrooms, both porches, and the yard.
We have a full kitchen with appliances, gadgets, fridge & freezer space, and spices available for use.
Instructions for laundry are in the laundry room and basic cleaning supplies are under the sinks.
The tools, equipment, and canoes under the parking shed are restricted from guest use.
You should also know that we do not have Internet service at our house. It truly is a retreat!

This is a pet-free home, but can make accommodations for outdoor pups who don't mind sleeping in a portable kennel on the porch or in the mudroom if this is agreed upon beforehand.
This is also a smoke-free home. Smokers may use the gravel drive and place fully extinguished butts in an outdoor tin.
No indoor pets and no parties.
