Thanks for sharing your views regarding your stay here. Your stay here would have been better if you had actually done your research before even arriving to Singapore. As Singapore is a tiny island, getting around everywhere is actually convenient especially with our efficient transportation. If you were to take a taxi, you would have definitely shorten your travel time AT LEAST by half. Getting from one end of Singapore to the other (literally from the EAST-TO-WEST, by public transport) will take an hour at most. So I am not sure what your definition of "quite long" is.
As understood, I am on this platform to actually share my home with guest. I do not own a travel agency neither am I obliged to work as one. If you had actually request for a map at least, I would have been more than delighted to offer you one for free. You not telling me anything, I assumed you had actually arrived in Singapore well prepared to know what you would like to visit or do. You seemed like you would prefer your privacy as you were locked up in your room the ENTIRE DAY, so there wasn't much opportunity for me to interact with you and share some information about Singapore. ):
I sincerely apologize for the shortage of toilet paper rolls, however in previous hosting, I had always placed enough toilet paper rolls in the washroom. You were the only one who were staying in the apartment during your stay. So perhaps I was not able to accommodate to your large usage.
Most importantly, if you had actually checked if you had locked your room carefully, maybe you wouldn't have assumed that I have entered the room. You did not lock the door properly, and I must emphasize I always respect all my guests privacy. I have never entered a guest room without attaining their permission when needed to. The door was never locked when you left, as you left the window open, causing the wind to blow the door open. So it would be great if you had checked with me at that point of time(when I was literally in the living room in front of you), rather than locking yourself in the room and assuming things.
Nevertheless, I would like to thank you again for your stay here in my home. I would greatly suggest if maybe on your next visit to Singapore, to stay in a hotel. Maybe their friendly receptionist can accommodate to your "very friendly and interactive welcome, and as well provide you your maps as you require". Also, a hotel in town where the city area is(probably would cost you a bomb $$$) would be great to suit your "not quite long to get anywhere" requirement. And of course, your privacy is always safely locked up in your room. (:
Have a good day Mr Anthony Roberts! :D
