The ground floor has a light and spacious kitchen/dining/living room with wooden floors and high ceilings, and at 9m long it really is the heart of this home. The country style bespoke kitchen has hard wood surfaces, is fully equipped, and has a large wooden table to seat 6-8.
The cosy snug (living room) has a wood-burning stove, original wooden beams, and is perfect to come back to after a long day exploring the local lakes and fells.
The bright and airy sun room has beautiful wicker furniture and catches the sun throughout the day.
There is also a loo downstairs.
The curved, stone staircase originating from 16th century leads to the landing with a high vaulted ceiling.
Upstairs there are 3 beautiful bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom and boasts its own private staircase, double bed, and antique furniture including a chaise longe, wardrobe, and desk.
Bedroom 2 is very spacious featuring a double bed, a single bed, wardrobe, chairs, and offers an excellent view of the garden.
Bedroom 3 is cosy yet light bedroom with a single bed.
We have an additional fold-up bed and downstairs is a comfortable double bed settee, which would be suitable be suitable for two families with young children. We also have a travel cot available.
The newly-renovated bathroom has underfloor heating, a luxurious roll-top bath, large power-shower, toilet, and sink. The window also features original wooden shutters.
The large 0.4 acre private garden features a large lawn with colourful flower beds.
