The cottage is perfect: functional and quirky (love the school-room window opener!) with a lovely little outside space. There are great walks around, and Peter has a map specially made to show the cottage and all the footpaths. The scenery is amazing, and if we'd have stayed longer I'd certainly have taken Peter up on the offer of a bike. Peter met us right as we arrived and was everything a host could be: helpful, considerate, informative and welcoming. The space itself is cosy but with plenty of room to spread out. I loved the kitchen, which comes with everything you could want (Peter even left us milk, eggs, bread, PB and olive oil!), while Patti liked the upstairs gallery lounge (She said I have to tell you all it's got Sky on the TV.) and the adjustable bed. The only bad thing about our stay was that it was only two nights: we agreed as we were leaving we'd certainly love to go back.
