My place is close to public transport, parks, and the city centre. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the location, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
Ben and Miranda would love to welcome you into our home. You would be staying on the top floor of our 150 year old Victorian Colonial 4 storey house. It's made of traditional Dartmoor stone, and was built to accommodate the local gentry attached to the railway; the station is just a stone's throw away, and still runs steam trains during the summer and the famous Polar Express in the winter.
You access the top floor through the main house, but once inside it's completely self-contained. You have a dedicated main double bedroom, a second TV room with a very comfortable sofa bed, an eating and cooking area with basic cooking facilities and a shower room.
The space is heated from the main central heating system and there are electric heaters on standby if you need them.
There is a wardrobe and a small chest of drawers, hair dryer and an iron and board.
The price is for two people sharing the double room. If there are two people using both beds (or three people), there is an extra charge of £10 per night to cover bedding and costs and so on.
You get into your space through the main house, but once inside it's entirely self-contained.
You're welcome to sit in the front garden to enjoy the afternoon sun, and hopefully join us in our kitchen for a cup of tea if you'd like to.

We work most days - sometimes from home, but are always on hand to help in any way we can.
We'd be delighted to point you in the direction of some fabulous Dartmoor walks ... indeed, if we go walking, you'd be welcome to join us.
Visitors from around the world are very welcome. One of us speaks Greek, and we have a smattering of French and Spanish.

You're close to some of the most attractive parts of Devon; Tavistock, Princeton and Chagford are in easy driving distance. Both coasts are within an hour, and the amenities of Exeter within 30 minutes.
The trans Devon cycle route emerges 30 yards from the front door, and Adventure Okehampton (abseiling, cycling, canoeing and all manner of outdoor fun) is a 5 minute walk away.
