~ ACCIDENTS & SPILLS - Please wipe-up any spills right away so they do not stain the counter tops or flooring. If anything breaks or is broken, please let us know. If the home is left excessively dirty, additional fees for cleaning will apply.

~ DAMAGES - Guests are liable for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to the card on file should damage occur during occupancy.

~ NO SMOKING - Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed inside the house or on the property. If any evidence of smoking is found inside the house, additional fees will apply for deep cleaning.

~ QUIET HOURS - Please be respectful of others. Quiet hours are from 8pm to 9am.

~ CHECK-OUT - Check-out time is at 10 AM. If you’d like to request late check-out, we will do our best to accommodate you. Additional fees apply.

~ MINIMUM RENTAL AGE - 25 years or older. No illegal substances are allowed on the premises and minors should not be in possession of alcohol. Failure to abide by all of the house rules above will result in immediate termination of your rental.

~ SHOES - Please remove your shoes before entering the house.

Lovely house! Very clean and comfortable. We had a great time. House is close to an awesome beach. The baby loved the outdoor tap to clean up after the beach. We definitely recommend it for a family!

First of all, the home is beautiful and has a great location. Our overall stay was going quite well until several unfortunate things happened with the host on the last day of our stay. On our last day the host called us into a private meeting to accuse us of having events on their property that were not approved by them. To clarify we were in Maui for our wedding and had people over for dinner and a breakfast. To our understanding neither of these would be categorized as an "event." She then attempted to invoice us $1500 for such events outside of Airbnb. At this time she also said that she had seen a ceiling fan that looked like it had been damaged. The reason she had noticed this fan was on the previous day she had walked into the home without our consent while we were getting ready for the wedding. The host ultimately invoiced us through Airbnb, but on her invoice she presented pictures of our wedding website as evidence of the events. I understand that our website is in the public domain, but it felt very invasive to think she had been online searching for such things. The host then requested that we do a walk through with them prior to our departure to see if anything else had been damaged, however, an initial walk through had never taken place upon arrival. The host came over on our final day to inspect the damaged fan and then proceeded to pull it further out of the ceiling and take photos of it. At this point we were feeling very uncomfortable in the home. Our privacy came into question at this point and several things started to make us feel uneasy. The host lives on the property with a direct view of the home. There are also no window coverings on any windows in the home, making it easy to see into any of the bedrooms and living room. Communication was a large problem as well, since we were unaware of any issue with guests until after the fact. In the end what could have been a very nice stay for our wedding ended up making us feel uneasy. I would not feel comfortable staying in this home again.

Amy. . . I'm so sad to read your review. Your tone sounds so different than the day we met in our office. We intentionally waited to meet with you as not to interrupt your beautiful time on Maui and Wedding day. Doing research is what we as owners sometimes have to do to gather information on the goings on in our properties. You broke house rules by using the property for unauthorized gatherings, plain and simple. When the maximum occupancy rule is broken, and in your case you advertised the house as "The Wedding Headquarters" and we see 40 - 50 people inside and on the grounds, of course we are going to start asking questions. As far as communication being a problem, I don't understand that as you know I was always available for you and came in to do a mid-stay cleaning for you and your guests. I feel that if you would have been honest and upfront about your plans, we could have avoided heartache. Good luck to you and our warmest Aloha

Thanksgiving in Hawaii is a new family tradition of ours and brings some extra challenges when staying in someone else's house. The Bungalows worked out really well, the kitchen is very well equipped and we prepared a wonderful feast! The house is spotlessly clean and airy and comfortable, in a great location. It took less than a minute to walk to a lovely safe beach with good snorkeling among the fishes and afternoon turtles. As a bonus, there's a great bar at the end of it for morning brunch & sunset cocktails. It's also very close to a beautiful coastal trail for morning runs & hikes. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance (though Uber was our choice in the dark because we didn't know what the sidewalk was like - it's fine!). Napili Market is also walking distance and has really good fresh produce & poke. Debra was very helpful and responsive at all stages of the booking & stay.
