Independent annexe, with its own entrance, in the grounds of an Old Vicarage. A perfect retreat to get away from it all. The spacious room is light, airy and comfortably sleeps up to 3 guests with its own en-suite shower and separate toilet and basin. Facilities to make own breakfast within The Annexe (welcome pack provided). The Annexe is surrounded by beautiful countryside providing lovely walks and cycle rides from the doorstep and some great places to eat nearby within an easy walk.
We are offering a truly lovely spacious (32 sq m) room with an en-suite shower room and separate toilet and basin. The room is light, airy and decorated in a fresh, beach-inspired style. The Annexe is totally independent from the main house with its own entrance.
The Annexe has a king-sized bed (5') and a single bed. Both beds are extremely comfortable divans with good quality bed linen and a choice of pillows. Towels are provided. There is a seating area with small sofa and coffee table, and for your entertainment - freeview TV, a DVD player (a selection of DVDs provided), a Wii console (a few games provided) and a box of traditional games for all ages. There is free WiFi with a good connection. The room can sleep up to 3 people comfortably. There is a built-in shelved cupboard for storing clothes.
There are facilities to make hot drinks and a small fridge and toaster to enable our guests to make a casual breakfast. We provide a "welcome pack" of a small loaf, butter, homemade jam, milk, a choice of cereals, together with tea, coffee and biscuits, to make you feel at home. We hope thoughtful little details such as the provision of a powerful hairdryer, lovely Cole and Lewis bathroom products and fresh milk in the fridge will make our guests feel special. The Annexe has good heating in cold weather and a fan (with a sleep mode quieter than a Dyson!) for hot weather. There is a small courtyard with table and two chairs to relax - read a book, enjoy your morning coffee or perhaps a sundowner.
There is plenty of parking space on the drive. We can often be flexible about check in and out times so please just ask. Every consideration has been given to our guests' well-being. Our aim is to make a little oasis of calm where our guests can relax, feel at home and recharge their batteries.
The Annexe and a boot/dog/cycle washing area. Access to The Old Vicarage and its garden are strictly private.

Having travelled extensively and stayed in a vast array of accommodation from luxury hotels to bed and breakfast (including Airbnb), from tents and pubs to even Napalese tea rooms, we felt we might be qualified to share our home and decided to open our doors to welcome guests to stay. Having experienced good and bad places to stay we hope we are able to offer our guests what they need to make their stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We love meeting new people and now, as empty nesters, have the time to give our guests. However, if you prefer your privacy The Annexe is perfect as it is totally independent from the house. We look forward to meeting you.

I have been living at The Old Vicarage for 14 years with my husband, Martin. We have two grown-up daughters aged 25 and 28 who have now "flown the nest". I love to travel and enjoy experiencing new cultures. My greatest achievements have been walking to Base Camp Everest and completing Coast to Coast. I enjoying cooking, entertaining, gardening, interior design, Zumba and walking my lovely labrador, Rosie.
