Our place is close to Downtown Greenfield (famous for James Whitcomb Riley) and Knightstown (famous for the movie Hoosiers and the antique stores). Our home dates back to 1838, and possibly beyond when it was a stagecoach inn off the National Road. Our place is good for solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets).
We took a decrepit historical house and made it into something our own with the skills of our creative carpenter.
Access to all parts of the house. The dining room, kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, living room are all on the bottom level of the house.
Annat att notera
Since our house sits on U.S. 40, it can be noisy for people not used to road noise. Also, we do not have wifi (yet).

Working ovo-pesco vegetarian environmentalist mom moonlights as a translator. Small business owner, musician, jack of all trades dad is outnumbered. Girl #1 (our oldest) loves to read, rollerblade, make chapstick. Girl # 2 (our middle daughter) loves to sing, cook surprise breakfasts, and give hugs. Girl #3 (our youngest tomboy) is a bundle of energy; she loves to draw, read, and play Barbies or shopkins. Our cat has adjusted wonderfully to the move to a huge house with a huge yard. And we just got a new kitten - Ro!
