Built to maximize comfort and privacy, the home features generous living spaces including a large kitchen, formal sitting room, formal dining room, family/media room, a study, and a covered outdoor gazebo. Floor to ceiling windows maximize the expansive views and allow gentle breezes to pass through the home for natural ventilation. A private pool deck with incredible sunset views is sure to impress even the most experienced traveler.
The home has two air-conditioned master suites, each facing the Pacific Ocean, with an en suite bathroom and sitting deck. The two guest bedrooms each have a pair of twin beds (which can be pushed together to make a king upon request).
Guest also have the option to purchase membership privileges to use the Mauna Kea Resort Club facilities during your stay. The cost is $125/day and must be purchased directly through Mauna Kea Residential Guest Services at least 2 weeks PRIOR to your arrival. Our Reservations Department will provide you with the registration form (when you make a reservation) and it will be your responsibility to complete & return this form back to Mauna Kea Residential Guests Services. Purchase of this membership includes the following privileges at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel facilities: Charging privileges at all hotel facilities, access to hotel beach and pools, towels, use of lounge chairs/umbrellas, reduced golf rates at golf courses, reduced rates at the Mauna Kea Seaside Tennis Club, use of two fitness centers (yoga and group classes available for a fee), and an access card for preferred parking at the hotels.

Our check-in office is located at the Mauna Lani Terrace & is open daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm. We are available for guests who need assistance, have questions or would like recommendations for activities, beaches, restaurants, services, etc. We are also available after-hours to assist in case of an emergency.

South Kohala Management (SKM) manages residential vacation rental properties that are privately owned by individuals. By reserving a property you are entering into a rental contract with SKM that is governed by the laws of the state of Hawaii and the Hawaii Landlord Tenant Code (HRS 467).
-Guests are required to register at our designated Resort Check-in Office, open daily from 9:00am – 5:00pm. You will be asked to present your drivers license or other form of ID. A photocopy will be taken at registration.
-Maximum Occupants: Each of our properties has a strict maximum sleeps capacity. Guests are required to provide the accurate number of people who will be staying in the unit at the time of booking. If the occupants exceeds the limit, you may be required to rent an additional unit or to pay a per person daily surcharge. In some cases you may not be allowed to stay in the unit if the maximum capacity is exceeded. Violation of this policy may also result in the forfeiture of the security deposit.
-Parking: Parking is limited to one vehicle per unit unless you were informed otherwise, in writing, prior to arrival.
-Events: Parties, events and social gatherings are strictly prohibited due to the rules of the resort and homeowners associations (HOA). Guests who violate this policy may be evicted from the premises and charged the fines imposed by the HOA.
-Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all properties, including the lanai, balcony and common areas.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
-Special requests are not guaranteed and guests are not entitled to a refund or unit move if a special request is unable to be granted.
-Unit Amenities: All units are equipped with a washer & dryer, beach towels & hotel linens. An initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent and trash bags are provided. Beach toys and gear vary by unit and are not guaranteed, but may be rented at various locations within the resorts.
-Pests: All properties have regular pest control services; however, pests are a natural part of Hawaii’s tropical environment and cannot be 100% eradicated. Guests can help to minimize the problems by not leaving food items or dirty dishes out on counters and by keeping screen doors closed at all times. The presence of an occasional pest does not justify a unit move or a refund.
-Maintenance: SKM is a rental agent only and is not responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of communal areas and facilities. SKM will make every effort to inform guests of common area maintenance if possible. SKM is not responsible for any ongoing construction projects nearby or in other units on property.
-Private Pools: Homes with private pools are not heated at any property but may be heated for an additional daily surcharge. Child protective fences are not provided so children must be supervised at all times.
