Built in 1862 Danseys has a warm, timeless feel with it's huge open fire. With a licensed restaurant and bar there are all the modern conveniences you could want in a historic settling.
Activities include biking, indoor curling, forestry walks, dog sledding and lots more. This area has a rich history of gold mining and was a thriving community of 3000 people in the 1860's. The Danseys Pass Coach Inn is the last remaining hotel in the area. Central Otago is known for it's wild open spaces, large sheep stations, dramatic landscapes, and of course wonderful pinot noir wines. Our huge open fire make it an ideal place for short stays, conferences, weddings, or just weekends away to relax.
Wi-fi is available in the dining room and large lounge. These areas have all the comfort you could wish for yet all the character of the past.
