while we wish to thank you for your review and for having chosen to spend your overnight in Tropea with us , allow me to make a short yet concise statement as to your review.
Allow me to start by metioning that the coordination of your check in followed as with the tens of all other our 5* evaluation guests the same standard. We sent from 24to 48 hrs prior to your arrival a very detailed email with information regarding the guests' expected arrival time , the meetining point if applicable, the check in procedure,ph numbers and many other infos and tips regarding their stay with us .
And this automatically implies exchange of information with the guest, therefore comunication , which takes place directly or indirectly as the case. In your case , considering you arrived in the afternoon and left the next morning , I was personally not in town, but our 10 year long partner , Mrs Rosa has taken care of you as she has dearly done with all our guests.
Yet, unlike all our other guests ( also mentioned it was an exception ) we accepted you park you motorbikes FOR FREE in the garage of our B&B which is in the old town, and where traffic restrictions apply . We tried our best to find appropriate solutions of letting you enter the old town even if it was forbidden , and this at no extra cost.
Also, as we talk about comunication, we were also informed 3 hours before your arrival that we shoud add an extra bedsheet to the room and prepare the extrabed althoughyou booked and payed for 2 person room setting and not for 3 .
Considering the free parking and the extra bed linen that were offered complimentary at no extra charge, this should add a more plus to the value for money relation which we pride and strive to have and offer as one of the best in the destination.
Last but not least, I would say that in my many years of hospitality experience ,this is the first time that I find myself at the oposite evaluation of one of my guests' experience and will consider every of the aspects you refered to however improve our already excellent guest service standards.
