Guest booked our place over $1000 AUD for 1week+, during check in date, we placed our key in a safe place only 15mins before guest arrival and told guest the place we put, but our key went missing for no reason in such a short period notified by guest there’s no key inside. Was quite shocked. On 4th day, guest called early arvo and told us there’s a break in case happened to this apartment, we instantly felt there must be some sort of issue related to guest check in date with the key incident. All of us called police and went to police station. Guest required to do a fully refund + compassion right after. That’s a very unfortunate case happened to guest and us as melbourne CBD apartment is almost 99% safer than anywhere else and currently we are waiting for police to check the CCTV and get In touch with the building manager who’s siting in front of the building lobby everyday before making any refund and compensation. Just wanted to let everyone know about this case. We are very sorry of what happened to Troy and we hope both of us could solve this soon once the police result is out.
