I think there was honestly a lot of miscommunication. Leo and would never ask any to leave the house in the middle of the night. We received a message at 12:30 at night from you and you seemed to be very upset with the room. You had mentioned you speak more Spanish then English so Leo went to speak to you about the room. After that discussion your friend came and personally apologized the next morning about your behavior the night before, so i thought everything was good and thought it was because of the stress of travel and fatigue which i totally understand! We know people spend a lot of money on their vacation so we don't want them to stay in a room that they are uncomfortable in that is why he gave you the option of returning your money so you can go stay somewhere else. It was not at all us trying to put you on the street we just don´t want people to feel like they have to stay for financial reasons if they are going to be uncomfortable. We don´t want anyone to feel uncomfortable in our home and we also don´t want to feel uncomfortable either and we absolutely would NEVER throw anyone out on the street. We are not terrible people, I went to buy an iron and we gave you extra towels at no extra cost to try to make your stay in Barcelona more comfortable. The room is the same room. We have added some new furniture to make it a little more spacious summer linens etc. but honestly haven't had any complaints from other guests. It is described in the description and in most other guests reviews that the street is noisy outside. Its a sacrifice when you want to be located in the center of any major city in the world. I do want to explain that this is not a business for us and this is not a hotel. We provide a clean, comfortable, safe space for travelers looking for a more economical place to stay in a great location and honestly try to do everything to make them feel as comfortable as possible and have a great experience meeting new people. I really do apologize that you were disappointed because like I said before, i know people spend a lot of money on holidays and i don´t want them to have a bad time but i think there was a lot of miscommunication because of language barriers and different expectations on the environment we want to provide to travelers and what you wanted.
