Between the historic Torre de Serrano and Plaza de la Virgen, in a quiet pedestrian street in the most elegant part of the center, near the Carmen district, the monuments, the River Turia park and the tram that goes directly to the beach. The building was a ham factory, now completely renovated and decorated. First floor (no elevator), entrance, living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, private patio, original wooden ceilings and exposed brick walls. A / C, Wi-Fi.

Jamon Factory Apartment
The house measures circa 75 square meters, in addition to a 25 square meter terrace which can be enjoyed virtually year round for outdoor dining, entertaining and lounging. Located on the 1st floor of a traditional building from the beginning of the last century that has No Elevator, but the stairs are few and it feels like a 2nd floor walkup. The apartment, properly named Jamon Apartment, was once used for the drying of traditional Spanish Jamon. A Newly designed and tastefully decorated apartment with a mix of modern and antique pieces, the flat was completely restored in 2018 with an eye towards preserving its original character while offering all of the quality necessities for your stay. The apartment is equipped with Air Conditioning, fast fixed line Wi-fi and has 2 bedrooms, 2 Baths, a living-dining room and a large private patio.


Inside, the house has been functionally divided in an open loft-like plan.

APARTMENT
The apartment is circa 75mq. (850 sq. feet), in addition to a 25sq. meters private patio. The main door through the entrance way leads into the living-dining room.

LIVING ROOM: The main living room has stone flooring, wooden beamed ceilings and exposed brick walls. An entire wall of sliding windows opens onto the spacious patio, complete with table and chairs and an outdoor swing sofa. The living-dining area has a modern table and chairs, sofa, (folds into additional double bed), Smart T.V., custom led lighting and A\C. This room’s original features, together with its decoration, gives the space an atmosphere of quiet elegance and charm. The traditional stone floors contrast with the brick and white walls to add a sense of warm welcome, recalling the older tradition, albeit in a house equipped with all the necessary comforts of modern life.

KITCHEN: Open plan full custom full kitchen was professionally made to fit the space and runs along a parallel wall of the dining with cream colored granite tops and traditional Spanish tile accents and custom led lighting. Ample storage is provided under the granite counter tops and it is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster and American coffee maker. The kitchen is fully stocked with a wide range of dishes, glasses, cutlery, kitchenware, cookware, toaster, boiler and small appliances.

GUEST BEDROOM (2.0x1.60) Sofa bed, Sleeps 2): Quiet bedroom facing internal patio. The 1St bedroom has built in closets, original beamed ceilings, original exposed brick walls and custom lighting. This space is divided by sliding doors in the evening to create a separate suite with its own bath and, during the day the doors can be folded open, allowing additional light to flow into the dining room and kitchen. Carefully furnished with custom double sofa bed of higher quality with a regular mattress, side table and entire wall of windows opening onto private patio.

BATHROOM: Located in a common hall between the bedroom and the dining area, which becomes exclusive to the on guest bedroom when the sliding doors are closed for privacy, a newly renovated large bath in ceramic with Spanish tile accents, oversized shower and w\c.

MASTER BEDROOM (2.0x1.60m) Sleeps 2). This very large room has original ceilings, exposed brick walls and two windows, one with a quaint little balcony overlooking the quiet street below. An entire wall of custom built in wardrobes and little niches around the bed, accented by colorful tiles, a double bed, air conditioning as well as LED lights over the bed.

2nd BATHROOM: Second bath located adjacent entrance way with large oversized custom shower, natural stone floors, LED lighting, original ceilings, W\C, Bidet and shower.

PATIO-TERRACE: a pleasant outdoor area with stone flooring, Spanish tile accents that can be accessed directly off the living room/second bedroom. Furnished with sofa, chairs and table and chairs, this area, is an ideal place to relax, have breakfast, eat, enjoy reading a good book or have a glass of wine having a chat in the evening.

A well-appointed home with a mix of modern and period pieces, photographic reproductions, custom art and all of the necessary furnishings that make nice the holiday, allowing guests to live as if they were at home.

The apartment is quiet, centrally located within two minutes from the bustling Carmen district, the center of Valencia’s nightlife and packed with restaurants, bars and café’s. An ideal location for the cultural as well as the hedonist tourist, while protected from crowds and noise. All of the main monuments of Valencia area but a short stroll and, for those wishing to combine their Valencia visit with sports activities, a stone’s throw from the dredged river Turia, offering ample possibilities to cycle or run from the center to the beach or enjoy a pleasant walk through shaded pathways to the famous City of Arts and Sciences, a magical futuristic mix of architecture and home to one of the largest aquariums in Europe which is a favorite of adults and children alike.

Bicycles rentals are available for rent directly below the house.

Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive the contact information of the key holder who will accompany you and check you into the apartment. You should give your estimated arrival time as soon as possible then call the key holder when you are circa 30 minutes from the apartment. Check in is from 16:00, while check out is 11 am on your departure date.
Taxi Instructions: The street where the flat is located can easily be confused with another of a similar name. If you take a taxi, be sure to instruct them near the Torres de Serranos.

Located just 100 meters from the famous Plaza de la Virgen and directly behind the ancient tower of Serrano on an elegant, quiet street closed to traffic in the heart of Valencia’s Historic Center. The flat is also comfortably near the ring road that surrounds the center as well as the famous Rio Turia river, recouped through dredging of the original river that once ran through here for centuries and now transformed into a sprawling public park with sports facilities, bike and running paths, soccer fields and child’s amusement park, running parallel to the Histroic Center, past the City of Arts and Sciences, a marvel of modern architecture by Valencia’s most famous, Santiago Calatrava and home to one of the largest aquariums in Europe.
