Beautiful, petite guest suite with garden level private entrance and patio. This private nook is a serene and quiet space, ideal for one or two people, and perfectly proximate to my pet goats!

This space has a queen-sized bed, lovely antique and vintage furnishings, tv with Roku, eclectic selection of books, a newly re-finished bathroom, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave.

Gästers tillgång
You will have full and private access to this room and bath suite, which is a one-room studio with private entrance on the ground level of my home. There is a small fenced private patio and you are also welcome to walk down to the yard to visit with the goats!

There are two other spaces in my home where I accommodate short-term guests. Please be conscious and respectful of the presence of others while out in the yard and parking areas.

My home is at the corner of the Meadowbrook Heights neighborhood - very close to UVA and the Barracks Road Shopping Center and about a mile and half from the Downtown Mall.

In addition to running my Airbnb, I am a mom to my three-year-old son - Jake, and I keep two Nigerian Dwarf goats as pets - Harvey and Edward, who I refer to affectionately as "the boys". They are great entertainers and helpful, if somewhat lazy, ecologically friendly stewards of the yard. They are also the subject of a children's book I am writing. My father bought this house on Rugby Road while he was a student at UVA in the 1960's. It was his favorite place to be and I am passionate about restoring the house and grounds as a way to honor his memory. My wonderful and talented partner, Tim has been instrumental in helping me tackle my long list of projects and improvements. We have a son, Jake, who was born in June of 2016.

You may see me, my son, and dog out in the yard, tending to the goats but we will be adhering to social distancing guidelines and will strive to give plenty of space to our guests. We may not cross paths - particularly if you are only staying for the night. I am always available by phone -and will respond promptly to texts and calls.
