This small exclusive resort is located in Roper, NC and is situated directly on the Albemarle Sound, just a leisurely one-hour drive from the beaches and attractions of North Carolina's outer banks. This 2BDR/2BA condo is accessible via an exterior corridor and features a fireplace, washer/dryer and flat-screen televisions. One of North Carolina's oldest towns, 300-year old Edenton, North Carolina, has an abundance of architectural treasures constructed in the 18th and 19th centuries that are open for daily tours. The town’s proximity to waterways and the ocean makes for great wildlife-watching opportunities, so bring your binoculars.

Fresh local seafood can be enjoyed in area restaurants or be prepared and savored at Waterside, because its two- and three-bedroom villas have fully equipped kitchens. This luxury resort is located on the scenic Albemarle Sound in a private community, and every unit has living rooms, dining areas, washer/dryers and jetted tubs.
For those looking for outdoor things to do in Edenton, NC, Chowan County is home to some of the oldest inner coastal waterways in the country. The Albemarle Sound offers marinas, fishing, canoe trails, sailing tours, and just about anything else water related an enthusiast can think of. Canoeing trails are some of the most popular attractions in this part of the state.

Chowan County is in close proximity to three golf courses just a short drive away. Visit the Links at Mulberry Hill in Edenton, Albemarle Plantation in nearby Hertford, and Scotch Hall Preserve in Merry Hill for a variety of course levels and endless putting fun!

Start at the Historic Edenton Visitors Center to check out its exhibits and pick up maps and recommendations for what to see and when. Visit the 1800/1827 James Iredell House, home to one of the justices to the first U.S. Supreme Court. Marvel at one of the country's longest operating and maintained Colonial American Courthouses. The Cupola House, Penelope Barker House and St. Paul's Episcopal Church welcome a steady stream of visitors as well. And no visit to Edenton would be complete without stopping to see the 1886 Roanoke River Lighthouse, one of the few screw-pile lighthouses in the country. Simply wandering through the streets of Edenton's historic downtown lets you drink up the beautiful architecture and landscaping of the restored homes that exude Southern charm and class. The Visitors Center offers guided walking tours every day to take you to the town's famed spots and teach you about their significance. You can even opt for a guided trolley tour.
