I follow the "Golden Rule" and expect the same of my guests. "Do unto others as you would have done unto you". Also no outside shoes on the carpet. Clean Bare feet, house shoes or socks only. I have loaner house shoes for your use. This is a ranch so early to bed and early to rise (for the host) everyone is asked to observe quite time from 10PM to 5:30AM just enjoy the peace and quite of country living ...I like little kids but for safety reasons the ranch is really not suitable for children under 4 years of age.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Rich's home. Rich was a great host who provided us with a lot of great info on nearby attractions and swimming holes. The breakfast and smoothies were great.

Rich is a good and kind man. He cooks a delicious homemade breakfast that is very much enjoyed! My husband felt a little isolated at this (URL HIDDEN) was not too far out but going 5 miles per hour on the gravel road made the drive seem longer...a four wheel drive or truck would have made a difference .

Toni, I enjoyed you and your husband very much. It is funny that you mention the gravel road ( 1 1/2 mile long). I have lived here for many years (over 20 ) and have always owned and driven a Harley and a sports car (I don't even own a licensed 4 wheel drive or truck) on this road at 15 - 20 mph without a problem. I think it is just an "adventure" for some "city folk" like you guys. :) Part of the Country charm!? Looking forward to welcoming you back any time! GOD bless!

My mom, sister, and I stayed with Rich for only one night and we had a wonderful time. His ranch is serene and beautiful. He is a delightful host who we enjoyed sharing breakfast with and we loved learning about his Ranch! He has great tips on local swimming holes, and places to visit near by. The little suite we stayed in upstairs was clean, tidy, and cozy. We definitely would love to come back and visit him again!

Rich's place is a very large home on many acres. It is very scenic, serene and quiet. The guest space is more than you usually see -- there is a spacious bedroom; adjacent bathroom and then a very comfy living area. Rich is a great cook and my breakfast was yummy! Rich joined me for breakfast and I was very entertained and interested in the fascinating stories he told about the region's goldmining and indian history. His property has a very important "genealogy." Any guest should enjoy their stay there. Miriam Weiner

Great place to just get away, yet close enough to get back into town. Rich is great host. Try Tuscan Garden for dinner too.

See our review from our wonderful stay at Three Sisters Ranch one year ago. On that visit, we enjoyed the outdoors with some hiking along the river and (with Rich) walks in the local countryside around the Ranch. This time, despite great weather, we spent most of our time relaxing indoors, reading in front of the fireplace and engaging in conversation with Rich. We especially enjoyed discussing the current California flooding with Rich, whose career before retirement was as a county flood plain manager in the Bay Area. We learned a lot!

This is a very unusual place on a former Native American site with cattle, dog, fruit trees, and trails. Accomodations are simple and breakfast is homemade and great. We had fruit smoothies and southern biscuits and gravy with beef grown on the premises. The host is an engineer with a background in water management so we learned a lot too.
