Watch the tall ships sail by from the deck of our Coach House apartment, on our beautiful property in the town of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the heart of Nova Scotia's fabled South Shore.
Our century home is located on a peaceful country lane with views of the bay and the Atlantic, but just a few minutes'walk from the historic town center. The lovely, airy one bed-room apartment is a stone's throw from our house, but very private ,in a garden setting. Beautifully furnished and equipped with a full kitchen and bathroom, it has it's own washer and dryer, as well as WIFI.
Lunenburg, home of the world famous Bluenose, is one of Canada's most distinct and memorable destination - a rich heritage, magnificent architecture, great shops and a range of fabulous restaurants for every taste and budget. As well, there is a golf course, tennis courts, whale watching tours and sailing cruises from the water front, music and art festivals, hiking and walking trails, bike and sea-kayak rentals, and many beautiful beaches nearby...True to our Atlantic fi8sheries tradition, you can buy lobsters from the dock and fresh lobsters from the boat...
Lunenburg has it all and is perfectly located for exploring Nova Scotia's most colorful regions - close to the picturesque villages of Mahone Bay and Chester, Canada's yachting capital and within an hour or so of Pwggy's Cove, the wineries of the Annapolis Valley, the Bay of Fundy and Halifax, Nova Scotia's capital city, which has an international airport.
We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful part of the world.

Regarding the household pets, our Norwich Terrier, who rarely barks, stays in our fenced-in back yard. The cats are in-door pets and the "other" refers to our African Leopard tortoise who lives in our greenhouse.
Basically, the only rule we have is for our guests to have a thoroughly enjoyable time while with us.
My husband Walter and I are both artists who have retired to the beautiful town of Luneneburg. Walter taught ceramics at the prestigeous NSCAD University in Halifax and I am an accomplished interior designer. Our property reflects our passion for gardening. Anyone who shares his interest will be delighted by his enthusiasm and horticultural knowledge. Through Walter's career, we've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel extensively world -wide and appreciate the innate value which AirBNB offers.
