We have created a very special environment for relaxation and unique experiences around food & wine. We hope that you will value the space we have created. You are reserving a quiet, peaceful, and harmonious setting and we ask you to maintain the surrounding environment. As for guidelines, smoking is not allowed inside the house. We ask guests not to bring pets but exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis so please do ask. While infants are fine, we are not set up to accommodate young children but again exceptions will be considered case-by-case, so don't hesitate to ask. If you intend to have a gathering of people beyond those staying in the inn we ask that you notify us before making your reservation. Please do not use the kitchen for a catering or a private event, as it is designed for light cooking for the guests only. Please do not invite or let a third party use the kitchen.
We would be happy to help with logistics of a gathering at the inn - it is a lovely place for events.
Anne is a performance management consultant. She grew up in Roanoke, Virginia and went to college in North Carolina - that's why we say "Southern is spoken here" in addition to French, Greek, and Arabic. Salim is the chef/owner of Cafe Collage a Mediterranean restaurant that we say is "centrally located in the middle of nowhere". He grew up in Tunis and Sidi Bou Said, known for its white stucco homes with blue doors and windows. We also produce award winning olive oil which we sell at the cafe and inn. The Barouni won a gold medal and the Mission, a silver, at the 2014 LA County Fair. Our life motto is "To be, here, now".
