My Victorian home, is in a quiet residential street, with excellent access to London’s West End (theatre and shopping), the City (financial centre) and Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and to Victoria (for Buckingham Palace and links to the main museums). The City is 7minutes; West End 16 minutes and Victoria 20 minutes. Historic Greenwich is "next door" and the O2 Arena is a just one short bus ride away.
Beautiful shared bathroom made for relaxing - Original Victorian luxurious deep claw footed bath. Also, shower over bath.
Lovely quiet garden for relaxing at the end of the day, or taking your morning coffee. (A river flows at the bottom of the garden where you can sometimes spot a Kingfisher – in the middle of London!)
Free WiFi. Parking is possible, but requires a permit - please request in advance of arrival. It is also possible to rent a bicycle from me or it may be possible to arranged with local bike shop.
Guests have the choice of buying in their own breakfast things (supermarkets and shops are very near) or I can provide Breakfast and/or coffee/tea at a very reasonable additional cost. Guests are welcome in the kitchen & dining room at any time, to prepare cold food or to eat or just hang out. Lovely view onto the garden. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and dining room, put things in the fridge, and and use the toaster, kettle and microwave, but guests are not able to use the other kitchen appliances.
Good local shops and restaurants are within 5 minutes walk, including very good, cheap ones.
Beautiful light bathroom with original Victorian, claw-footed bath tub. Shower over bath. Shared with me, although I usually only use it when you are out.
You are welcome to use the kitchen and dining room, put things in the fridge, and prepare any cold foods, but I don't allow guests to use the kitchen appliances. (I can always boil water for you or you can add breakfasts to your stay)
The garden is a lovely haven, especially in the summer - see photos and comments from previous guests.
You are welcome to use the washing machine.

I live in this large 3 story Victorian house on my own. I am always happy to help with local information and advice on travel and all the touristy and not touristy stuff to do. You can be quiet and private here or sociable and enquiring. What is important is that you feel comfortable.
Please remove outdoor shoes when in the house.
No smoking inside, but you can smoke in the garden.
I love London and I love wild places. London always has something different going on and so many things to do - The theatres, the fabulous array of restaurants; the shops and events of evey great city, but also there are gardens and green spaces and wildlife and rivers. Surprising, diverse and so much fun!
