This guest guest contacted us at 11 in the night for a stay the very same night. They were obviously stood up by som other host, or tossed out somewhere. We allways try to accommodate our guests, and prepared the guest house for Aliram and his family.
They arrived in the middle of the night(around 3), and the next morning they startet complaining about what they meant were discrepancies in the description of the house.
Now, I have been working with quality assurance for fifteen years; There are no discrepancies in my advert. After looking for discrepancies for a few hours, he couldn't find any, so he wanted to increase the number of guests in his booking (which already was 9 people in i a house with regular beds for 9, and foldable guest beds for additional, PRE-booked guests). Off course, there were no extra guests, he was just looking for things to complain about.
Aliram was new to Airbnb, and I told him that he would have had to book the extra guests when he booked the stay, but that we was welcome to check out and look for a different dwelling instead. I would be happy to refund the rest of his stay. Aliram still did not check out, he stayed the entire duration of four nights, and I guess his complaining and quarreling was just an attempt to get money back.
He wasted a lot of my time, he walked inside with dirty shoes, he looked for details to quarrel about and while I am a superhost, hosting the most sought after airbnb in Scandinavia, I realize this is my first bad review. Aliram did not read the advert, he did not read the booklet with information in the guest house, he did not check out in time and he did not treat the property well.
I have reported this guest to Airbnb.
