Mahalo for your feedback, Roman! Guests should note that this area is a rural, agriculturally zoned neighborhood in a tropical rain forest. We had an exceptionally wet year in 2018, but rain is not at all uncommon here. That's one of the reasons you can rent a very large, nicely decorated, direct ocean front home with a hot tub in Hawaii for such a low price. When the properties are closed up in-between guests, they can get a little musty smelling, but opening windows and turning on ceiling fans takes care of that in a matter of minutes. Like almost all homes in the area, there is no AC, as its not needed in our very mild climate that averages 82 degrees during the day and 70 degrees at night year round. We wish you had let us know about the BBQ and screens! We haven't received reports of issues with these from housekeeping or previous guests. We could have sent someone right away to take care of them. The patio furniture and dryer are fairly new - superficial issues crop up very quickly in this ocean front rainforest environment. If our owners replaced things every time a cosmetic issue arose, our rates would be much higher. We focus on functionality and comfort at very affordable prices instead ;-) This area is not for everyone, but we hope you enjoyed your visit, nonetheless!
