This basement apartment in a beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood is great for one or two people! Approximately 700 square feet including living/dining, utility room with washer/dryer, bedroom and private bath with shower. No smoking in the house or within 30 feet of the house.
We offer coffee and tea in the apartment. English muffins and yogurt are provided for your first two nights. Full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster over, and coffee maker with hot water for tea mean that you can cook your own meals/heat leftovers in your own space.

About Our Community:
Cheverly is 1.27 square miles in area a population of about 6,400 residents. Conveniently located on the Orange Line, the town is located in the western portion of Prince George's County, Maryland, one mile from the northeastern Washington, D.C. border. The Town lies between two major road arteries-the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and Maryland Route 50. Established as a planned residential community, the Town is convenient to Washington, D.C. by Metro bus and rail, and to retail shopping centers in the surrounding communities. Metro is a 15 minute walk away.
Wegmans Grocery, a destination driven to by many living quite a distance away, is a mere 5 miles away. Many other grocery stores including Giant, Aldi and Safeway are also convenient.
15-20 minute walk to Cheverly Metro (front door to platform, not running) makes for easy commute to Capitol Hill or downtown. Train time to Capitol South 12 minutes, L’Enfant Plaza 16 minutes, Metro Center 21 minutes. Very quiet neighborhood. House is situated on a cul de sac with almost no traffic and plenty of parking. Extremely convenient to Baltimore-Washington Parkway and Route 50. About 15-20 minutes driving distance from the University of Maryland. Walking distance (3 blocks) to Prince George's County Hospital.
The apartment, with kitchenette, is in our basement, with private entrance through the garage (parking in garage can be arranged). Although this is completely separate from our living space, we are happy to offer advice about touring or help in any way.
