This spacious and light filled apartment has beautiful views of a marsh and the headwaters of the Harraseeket River and also borders a bird sanctuary. You can put kayaks in across the street and it is a short 20 minute walk into downtown Freeport. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and an additonal twin in the large living room and a twin in a small private nook under the eaves off of the kitchen. Great year-round location.
This is a fully furnished and wonderfully lit apartment with it's own private entrance in a vintage Freeport home. It is very private and spacious and looks out on the marsh and Harraseeket River where you will often see our local Blue Heron. Also all of our electricity is generated from 28 brand new solar panels on our roof! There is wireless internet, cable TV, bathtub and shower, queen size bed plus two comfy memory foam twin mattresses for additional guests.
You will have the entire spacious apartment to yourselves with a private entrance from a second floor deck. You can also walk through our woods on our 2.5 acres down to Frost Gully Brook that borders our property.

We have lived in Freeport for 9 years having moved here when our child was 7 from San Francisco, where we lived for 20 years. If you would like, we would be happy to give you tips on restaurants and other places to visit on the beautiful Maine coast.
Ask us about bringing your well behaved pet. No smoking in the apartment, but there is plenty of outdoor space. There is also parking available on the premises
I live in Maine now, but I spent 20 years in San Francisco running my design business, teaching and exploring the west. I love the country and the city and can wander endlessly through museums, gardens and villages. I am a fan of many types of foods but I prefer them organic. I teach about sustainability and design and am always on the look out for inspiring creative ideas wherever I go!
