We absolutely loved Niko's place! Such a nice place to stay at it you just wanna get away for a while and Niko was super friendly and welcoming and his dog Fred is the nicest dog ever. We would go back any time

This was my second time at the tree house. Great location, lovely spot to chill out and discover Wairarapa's beauty. Niko is a very welcoming host, you'll feel at home :)

Sure, in the country we have unusual rural noises such as neighbours rooster, frustrated bulls, and in clear winter nights awesome sound from the deer farm in the distance travels across the plains. Thats all part of the experience, at times its so quiet you can hear the river, and hey it not an airport :-)

We live at the end of a country lane, in a very beautiful and quiet rural setting surrounded by a mix of native bush and dairy farm.

If you decide to arrive by train from Wellington, Matarawa Station is only a few kilometers away, and I am happy to pick you up or drop you off from there.
