We have 3 cats who are all gentle and friendly. If you leave your bedroom door open, they may visit!
Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 9.00am but we are happy to do this earlier by arrangement.
Please note that first and second floor bathrooms are shared. This usually works out pretty well. I clean both bathrooms every day for no extra cost, but if you are not happy sharing bathrooms, perhaps we are not the right place for you.
All new guests to check in on their first day after 4.00pm to allow time for room turnaround.
All guests departing to check out by 11.00am to allow time for room turnaround.
We would like all guests to respect our home and other residents.
We are a non-smoking family but you can smoke in one of our outside spaces.
As both of our bathrooms are shared with others, it would be appreciated if you could store your toiletries/towels in your room when not in use. There is plenty of storage space provided for these items.
We work as therapists from home during the day and would appreciate it if you bear this in mind when coming in and out of the property.
We are a vegetarian family and because of this, do not allow guests to use our kitchen/oven but are more than happy for food to be stored/prepared using our microwave, grill, toaster and fridge in guests own food prep area. A table and chairs is also provided if you would like to eat in.
We work from home so one of us is usually around to offer support if needed. We are friendly folks and are happy for you to interact with us as often or as little as you wish; this is your holiday.
I moved to Cornwall in 2010 with my partner and 2 of our 6 children. It was always my dream to move to the coast and we feel so fortunate to live in a town surrounded by so much beauty. We love it when our home is full of conversation, laughter and fun. Our interests range from holistic health, meditation, yoga and tai chi to reading, film, comedy and music We have several guitars around the house. I work a counsellor/psychotherapist and my partner practices massage, cranial-sacral therapy and acupuncture; he also teaches Tai Chi and Qi Gung. We enjoy cooking together along with a nice glass of wine. Penzance is a wonderful town, full of creative, friendly people. We hope that your time spent here leaves you with many happy memories.
