Step back in time to this restored 1950's Pullman railway carriage, with the added luxury of 21st century amenities. The Carriage is set on tracks where the original line ran through Ullock on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, with the river Marron running below. Relive a unique journey with the addition of being able to step out onto the platform for sunbathing, breakfast or your evening meal then retire to the antique king sized bed with dressing room, ensuite and Eden toiletries.

Kilndale Cottage is located within the Rural Hamlet of Mockerkin, a short drive from some amazing Lakes and only 5 miles from the picturesque market town of Cockermouth, making this an ideal base for couples and families wishing to explore the western lakes and fantastic walking or cycling right from your doorstep, our cottage offers a peaceful location with stunning views over the tarn and the fells beyond. The open coal fire makes the evenings extra cosy, making this a memorable holiday stay.

Acorn Cottage

Unwind at this unspoiled quiet, peaceful location in the Lake District national park. Our 17th century farm workers cottage has been renovated to provide modern accommodation whilst keeping its traditional character. 20 mins walk from the village of Ennerdale Bridge, with 2 excellent pubs & a cafe. Many walks and cycle routes from the cottage doorstep. Situated very close to Ennerdale Water & the C2C and wainwright coast to coast routes. Easy access to western fells and solway coast.

The Drey a boutique retreat 3 miles from Ennerdale

The Drey, by Blake View holidays, is a brand new space, converted from old stables. The Drey is so called because of it's cosy "drey like" space, ideal for two and as a nod to the red squirrels you may see during your stay. The Drey has a kingsize zip and link bed, extra large shower and a cosy living room/dining area with a full kitchen to relax after a day in the fells. Situated in the picturesque village of Rowrah, on the edge of the Western Lake District. Recently renovated quirky 2 bedroom miner's cottage, ideal for exploring the less well known Western Fells and glorious Cumbrian coastline. There is on street parking available in the layby across the road, and a private garden with dining area to the back of the property. Situated within walking distance of the award winning Ennerdale Craft Brewery serving locally brewed ales and home cooked food.

Characterful Chapel Cottage - Lake District

Chapel Cottage, Distington on the edge of the Lake District in Cumbria. Built in 1838, originally an outbuilding for a Methodist Chapel which has undergone a full renovation and conversion into a quirky 1 bedroom house which is filled with amazing features and full of character! A modern take on a historic building, keeping some of the original heritage but with a modern contemporary feel! The ideal getaway location for a relaxed break near the lakes, with local amenities. The Brook

The Brook is a luxury home on the fringe of the Lake District National Park between Cockermouth and Ennerdale Water. Benefitting from your own private hot tub, outdoor lounge area, separate BBQ and dining space. The Brook has everything you need for those Summer days. Or for those Cumbrian showers The Brook has high speed Wi-Fi, a kids corner complete with games and activities and complementary wine and local ale. The Brook has a lot to offer from romantic weekends away to family vacations.

Enjoy wonderful views of the Ennerdale fells, extending to Pillar and Steeple. The spacious, comfortable accommodation forms the main section of a larger semi-detached property. You will have the house to yourselves - we will be far away, but contactable should you have any questions or issues. It's self check-in and check-out. There are many good and varied walks nearby, as well as scenic drives and gastro pubs. You will need to bring groceries with you - breakfast is not supplied.

West view is a luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

Rosebank Cottage is a 2 bedroom cosy cottage with a stylish modern interior, situated in the small rural village of Dean, Cumbria. The cottage is in a ideal location to explore the fells and lakes of The English Lake District. Rosebank cottage sits in a peaceful village next door to the quaint village pub "The Royal Yew" and offers country walks from the doorstep, whilst offering tranquility, style with all of the home comforts that you would expect.

Come and explore the lesser known and much quieter part of the Lake District. No long traffic queues and parking is much easier. Superb views of the surrounding countryside, Irish Sea and the Lake District Mountains. This accommodation is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Ideally located for walking, mountain biking, kayaking, golf or walks on the beach all within a short drive.
