Wir (Fam. mit 3 Kindern) haben sehr schöne, ruhige Tage bei Malou verbracht. Alles sehr schön, etwas beengt beim gemeinsamen Frühstück. Malou haben wir leider nicht kennengelernt. Supermarkt etwa 10 min mit dem Auto entfernt.

Malou's chalet is very cute and cosy! Perfect for a quiet get away. Malou as a host is outstanding. She accepted our booking with less than 24 hrs of our arrival due to a not so nice experience in another Airbnb. Malou and her family made us feel very welcome and at home. Would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and quiet time.

The Garden Cottage is not what you would expect nestled in the countryside. Quiet and idyllic a perfect getaway from the city. Inside is fantastic! Modern kitchen and bathrooms and very comfy beds. We only stayed for one night but this place is perfect for two couples to holiday. Plenty of storage space and all the comforts of home. Even bread milk butter and jam for breakfast. There were even sweets in the sweetie jar. Made my boyfriend very happy. Tracey and her husband are lovely and very accommodating even providing us with local cab numbers. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way up to London and then for 2 nights on the way back because it was so idyllic and beautiful, we couldn't resist. Tracey is a fantastic host and is always contactable but also respects your privacy. Perfect.

A wonderful place to escape to - all the comforts of your own home in idyllic, picturesque countryside. A prefect getaway for couples and families. I took my children here for my daughters birthday en route to Car Fest and we had a really lovely time - relaxing in the garden, a country walk, dinner in a very nice village pub and a quiet hour on the sofa before bed. Tracey's Garden cottage is a gorgeous getaway at only 1.5 hours outside London. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by its setting and size. A spacious cottage with 2 comfortable and clean rooms and beautiful views of the surrounding fields. Would have no hesitation to stay again and Tracey was very accommodating.

A truly handsome Elizabethan property in the middle of the English countryside. The views are as magnificent. Paul is the prefect host showing us around and offering us tea when we arrived. He's very friendly and knows lots about the local pubs and eating places which were exceptional and rustic. The bed was so comfortable it would be easy to sleep all day in it! If it wasn't for a delicious breakfast Paul prepared with muesli, croissants, filter coffee, and teas on offer. This is an experience as well as a stay over. We were there one day, we wished we could stay another. Great place for walkers and there's good stables in nearby Pangbourne (10 min drive) for those who like horse riding.

Freundlich und sehr einladend in keinem kleinen Teil wegen Paul und seine Einstellung zum Leben. The whole experience ,my first with Airbnb was very good .Paul makes one feel right at home and the description was excellent as was a frosty beautiful sunrise which showed it really was an impressive place with a room with a view.

We were on route to Somerset from London via the Pot Kiln, just down the road from Paul's flat which provided us with the perfect base for the stopover. Paul was welcoming, with the room comfortable and facilities good. All in all a highly satisfactory stay!

We stayed at Meadow Thatch on our wedding night, and Prue was so accommodating to our schedule for the day. We received a warm welcome, and a lovely breakfast in the morning. Such a restful place to wake up. And Prue sent us away with a bag of apples and pears from the orchard! We're actually quite local, but I'd recommend this to any friends or family visiting the area.

Nous avons eu le privilège d'être invités 1er de Julia sur un Airbnb séjour de 2 nuits :) Avant notre arrivée Julia était très serviable avec les directions à la maison. Le code postal de l'hébergement nous a emmenés à la porte, mais était super d'avoir le texte pour confirmer les directions. Nous avons été accueillis dans la maison de notre hôte et aussi « Bigie » le chien très doux et amical. Vous comprendrez pourquoi il est appelé que si vous le rencontrez! La chambre était parfaite pour notre séjour avec beaucoup de serviettes et nous avons été informés que nous pourrions utiliser la cuisine. Comme nous étions la plupart du temps nous ne fait usage du thé et du café (fourni) le soir et le matin, tout était aménagé prêt à l'emploi. Le lit était très confortable avec le matelas en mousse à mémoire et la chambre et salle de bains pour notre usage était très propre et bien rangé. A propos d'une promenade de 10 minutes était une belle pub appelé The Fox. Nous avons passé 2 soirées là-bas et la nourriture était excellente. La seule chose que je dirais est de prendre une torche pour la maison à pied car il n'y a pas d'éclairage public! Pas une route très fréquentée, mais vous ne pourrez pas voir le trottoir !! Nous avons utilisé la torche de notre téléphone mobile. (Julia n'avait en fait une torche dans notre chambre déjà, nous avons juste oublié de le prendre !!) Je ne voudrais pas hésiter à recommander cet heureux et je Airbnb séjourner si visiter encore la région. Merci Julia. Tim et Sue

Silent place.

Great host and cottage. The grounds are lovely and it is always nice to wake up and see the horses graze out in the fields! Cottage/s are spacious and well kept. If venturing out to the nearby areas such as Pangbourne, make sure to organise taxis in advance as they are a rare treat and do not know the country lanes. I would definitely recommend this host.

I had a lovely stay in Upper Basildon which really feels like being out in the country but at the same time was very convenient for my business meetings in Reading and Newbury. At the end of the day I could quickly escape the hustle and bustle and have a relaxing walk in the country. Richard and Lenka were chilled, friendly and welcoming. I found it interesting to talk to them and hear about their 3 month travels around the globe. The room was comfortable (comfy bed!) and overall the house very clean. There was plenty safe parking either in the drive or on just on the street. I’ll definitely stay with them again on my next business visit to the UK.

The perfect place to stay. This is my very first experience of Airbnb and I fear that Ysabelle's annex may have spoiled me for any future accommodation! The annex is beautiful self contained accommodation separate from the main house giving total privacy. Very comfortably furnished, warm and cozy. The bed is super comfortable and I slept very well. I will definitely stay again.

The place is very nice in the deep of the countryside. Very very quite and nice the apartment. I think that pictures perfectly correspond to the reality. Izy was very kind and ready to satisfy our needs. The only suggestion is to put some blinds on the windows, otherwise it really get bright too early during summertime. Apart from this we had a very good stay enjoying the tranquility of the place and the company of the horses.

Lynne was very friendly and accommodating. We were driving so were indefinite about our arrival time but Lynne was flexible. Lynne was extremely kind to both my girlfriend and myself, allowing us to store our bikes in her garage and offering us a generous breakfast in the morning. Her guest room has a comfy double bed and a private bathroom with shower - both much appreciated after a day of cycling. The house is a 10 minutes bike ride, 20 minutes walk from the centre of Newbury, in a quiet residential area not far from the local racecourse. Even though we only spent one night at Lynne's, she made us feel truly welcome, and we would not hesitate to go back!
