This high spec luxury loft apartment comprises of over 1600sft of open plan vaulted red brick loft living. Solid hard wood flooring throughout the apartment with lighting troughs and original feature columns and steel work. The apartment has been tastefully furnished throughout.   • Vad en stor hitta denna lägenhet var, helt magnifik och modern, ett helt nytt hem hemifrån. Jag behövde en plats att bo eftersom jag hade en jobbintervju i Glasgow, så jag väljer den här egenskapen ... Jag är så glad att jag gjorde det, jag kunde inte ha önskat mig en bättre plats att tillbringa lite tid ... Mycket bekvämt och rymligt, och inredningen är så modern och elegant. Lägenheten är helt enkelt perfekt, du kan inte fel det på något sätt. Bra läge, nära till allt och allt. Med den vackraste utsikten över floden. Jag älskade det faktum att det finns en Costa Coffee precis runt hörnet (jag är lite av en coffeeholic) och 24 HR Tesco snabbköpet var också mycket bekvämt ... Poolen och bastun är också mycket trevligt, och bara lagt till hur trevlig min vistelse var. Jag skulle definitivt stanna här igen i framtiden, utan tvekan ... Ägaren är så hjälpsamma och vänliga också, Och hade inget emot att vänta på mig trots att jag var nästan två timmar sen. ( Förlåt...) Hälsningar Michel.

    The Coach House, Gourock, is located in a quiet area a few minutes walk from the Main Street with shops, pubs, restaurants and the train station. The Coach House is a light, bright, modern space in a converted period building. It includes a living room (with single sofa bed), mezzanine sleeping space (double), kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. There is private parking, and outside seating space. Gourock is a convenient base for travel to Glasgow, Ayrshire, Argyll and the Western Isles.
    This is a unique self contained period building which has been extensively modernised. It is a bright, light space with a mezzanine sleeping area (with double bed) just above the living room. (Please note, the bedroom is accessed by a spiral stair case, and it is not full height. 5ft high.) There is also a single sofa bed (from made) in the living room. It has a full kitchen with a smeg range cooker, microwave and fridge. The bathroom has a full bath and shower over. The Coach House has it's own private access through a driveway, and space outside for BBQ or seating in summer. There is a laundry/store room with a washing machine, drying rail, iron and ironing board. The house has central heating which keeps it cosy in the colder weather. We are pet friendly.
    Gourock is a lovely little town on the Clyde Coast. It boasts boutique gift shops, local pubs and cafes. One of the last remaining outdoor pools in Scotland is a popular attraction in the summer months. (5 minutes form the Coach House). The Gourock and Greenock esplanades provide long uninterrupted walks by the stunning Clyde coast. Gourock is ideally located for anyone wishing to explore the West Coast of Scotland. The Dunoon Ferry leaves from Gourock which allows you to access the West Coast of Scotland, and from the neighbouring towns of Wemyss Bay, Largs or Ardrosssan, you can travel onto the islands of Bute, Cumbrae and Arran. The Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park will be an attraction for walkers. Gourock Golf Club boasts some of the most scenic golf holes in the country.

Shops, bars, restaurants, within easy walking distance. An ideal base for anyone wanting to explore the local area or further afield. At the end of the street is murdieston dam, home to ducks & swans, perfect for a quiet stroll. The Greenock Cut, very popular for walking, is only a 5 minute car journey away.

Dusch och tvättmaskin fungerade inte när vi kom dit, men Italo svarade genast och fixade det utan problem. Värd är underbar och utrymmet är perfekt om du vill ha ett lugnt område i en vacker stad i närheten av Glasgow. Jag kommer definitivt stanna igen om jag kommer tillbaka!

  • Stor plats och utsikt. Busshållplatser i närheten och fantastiska byggnader. Mycket tyst och nära några bra pubar och mycket mat. Så härlig tyst och det finns några mycket långa trappor som tar dig mot vattnet som bara är vackert. Även inuti lägenheten mycket tyst och har kryddor och krukor och kokkärl och utmärkt WiFi. Skulle definitivt rekommendera om du vill ha lugn och ro.

  • För priset var lägenheten riktigt bra även om det är ganska kallt finns det ingen mobil värmare utom en annan värmare. Du måste gå till busstationen ett tag, men du kan köra in till Glasgow. Våra meddelanden besvarades mycket snabbt och våra problem löstes snabbt. Det vore trevligt om det fanns en duschdraperi för duschen eftersom duschen är under vatten under duschen. Sammantaget var det ett bra ställe att bo.

    Just a short distance from Wemyss Bay Ferry and train station. The house is located along a small private beach road opposite a pretty beach overlooking the Isle of Bute, very scenic. Very private and quiet. Good, safe parking. Very suitable for anyone who has missed the ferry, or wanting to catch an early ferry the next morning. Easy access to the islands, highlands and Ayrshire. Lovely walks. Makes a good base to explore Scotland from. Good road and rail links to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
    The Airbnb property is a very private, quiet, small, first floor studio flat around the rear of the property. The flat does not have sea views but does have views of the pretty, private rear garden. To reach the property you take the drive to the left side of the house where there is plenty of parking. There are two single beds in the room. Single occupancy is £38 for two people it is £56 ( please select 2x guests in the initial search box to show the correct price). The kitchen area is small but has a sink, two hobs, microwave and a fridge. The price also includes a simple, self service breakfast of coffee, tea, cereals, milk and toast which is left in the flat for guests. The bathroom has shower, toilet and basin. Towels provided. Broadband speed 76 mgs. Dogs are welcome but please be aware that two cats live in the downstairs flat and use the same front door but don’t come up to the Airbnb guest studio. Also two small dogs live elsewhere in the property. Last minute bookings accepted.
    Wemyss Bay is a lovely spot with beautiful views across the sea and many lovely local walks. Good restaurants in Inverkip ( Inverkip Hotel and Chartroom)and Largs. Good fish and chip shop in Wemyss Bay. Award winning butchers who also sells ready meals, wine etc Seaview cafe linked to the butchers serves a very good cooked breakfast. Small friendly pub in the station ‘Station Bar’

Additional popular tourist locations in close proximity include Loch Lomond (approx 45 mins drive), The Isle of Bute and Arran accessible with local ferry services, and the City of Glasgow is only 35 mins away.     Compact but very cosy modern apartment within an end of a hillside cul-de-sac in Gourock with spectacular sweeping views over Firth of Clyde, Loch Long, Holy Loch and mountains of Argyll. Very quiet. Bedrooms face the rear of the building where the countryside wilderness starts and the only night time disturbance is likely to be the slight noise of an odd deer venturing into the garden grounds.
    Please note that own transport is advisable. Although there is a public bus service at the main road at the bottom of the hill, some walking uphill from the bus is needed, which might be not suitable for young children and/or frail people. Discounted taxi service with a licensed Inverclyde taxi operator/driver could be arranged on request. The primary maximum amount of guests is four persons. However, a fifth person could be accommodated on a folding bed in the lounge, if required. I do believe in maintaining a healthy environment in the flat and keep the number of soft furnishings to a bare necessary minimum. It means no carpet floor coverings, etc., but it helps to keep dust levels as low as possible.
    Inverclyde with its principal towns of Greenock and Gourock boasts plenty of scenic places with spectacular views over water and mountains. Within walking distance from the apartment, there is Gourock-Dunoon ferry offering the fastest route to Argyll from Inverclyde. From Dunoon it is possible to explore the unspoilt mountainous scenery with empty roads of the Cowal peninsula and further afield into Argyll and Highlands proper. A few miles south at Wemyss Bay, there is the ferry linking the mainland with the Isle of Bute. For city lovers, Glasgow with its endless possibilities for shopping, culture and nightlife is only 30 miles to the east.

Finlaystone Estate has extensive woodland walks and beautiful gardens and is just 20 minutes from Glasgow and 30 minutes from Loch Lomond.
    The barn is on the upper floor of the Oak Framed building and feels a bit like a large loft. The open plan set up gives it a roomy feel. It has 1 large double bed plus a sofa bed can be made up for an extra guest. Being recently built, the building is well insulated and snug but there is a wood burning stove for extra warmth as well as electrical heating. If you have difficulty with stairs or want a larger barn we have a separately listed one on the ground floor which can take 2 to 6 people in similar style.
    The Estate is 20 minutes from Glasgow and about 12 minutes from the airport, with easy access to places such as Loch Lomond about 30 mins away. Edinburgh is 60 mins by car on a clear run so we are a great base for a few days of Scottish tourism. The world class golf courses of Troon, Prestwick, Gleneagles and Loch Lomond are all within an hour drive and the islands of Bute and Arran are close by also.

    Our flat is nestled in the Countryside of West Scotland. The flat is only minutes walk away from everything you may need to access locally; whether a trip to the boutique wine shop, baker, fishmonger, local market or even a trip for a pint at the Pullman bar - all is within a walking (or indeed stumbling) distance!
    Kilmacolm is a quiet, calm and friendly little Scottish village with the hustle and bustle of Glasgow and surrounding areas only short drives away. Rummen var mycket rena med massor av handdukar, sängkläder och linne. Det var en smart tv och WiFi ingår plus ett fullt utrustat kök. Lägenheten ligger i hjärtat av Kilmacolm och alla bekvämligheter som stormarknad, kaféer, restauranger, kyrka och bibliotek ligger inom några minuters promenad. Kilmacolm är en vacker miljö för en avslappnad landad vistelse. Det är en bevarandeby som lever upp till den status som denna titel föreslår. Lokalbefolkningen är omtänksam, vänlig och hjälpsam. Byn har en stark samhällsanda och välkomnar besökare. Margaret, vår värd, var extremt, hjälpsam och stödjande med ändringar i sista minuten till vår bokning. Hon var snabb med att svara på frågor och ingenting verkade för mycket besvär. Jag rekommenderar starkt den här lägenheten.

  • Var redo att klättra några trappor för att komma till lägenheten men det har en härlig utsikt med utsikt över byn Kirk. Butiker ligger 2 minuter bort med en co-op, postkaféer och presentbutiker. Det fanns alltid gatuparkeringar nedanför eller i en liten parkeringsplats några meter längre bort på vägen. Vi tyckte att det var väldigt tyst i lägenheten. Du har allt du behöver för en kortare vistelse och det mesta för en 9 veckors vistelse !!! Margaret och hennes man var verkligen hjälpsamma och när det var problem med kranen var de på det direkt. Vi kan rekommendera en vistelse här.

    The setting is perfect for your seaside break. A bus stops at the door, while ferries will take you to the surrounding islands. A short walk from the town for wining and dining and the train to Glasgow. The apartment is roomy with a big kitchen-feel free to cook! There are great cycle routes roundabout and boats dock across the road.
    The Apartment is bright and spacious. The kitchen is really the heart of the place, so please, feel free to bring some ingredients and cook up a storm. The lounge is host to a nice big TV and a great sound system, so enjoy relaxing with a good movie, I have a couple of hundred DVDs too if you need inspired.
    The neighbourhood is very friendly and peaceful. There are beautiful walks and always dog walkers around. Lots of boaty people too, and cyclists, just enjoying life by the sea.

  • Vi har haft vår vistelse här och skulle stanna här igen. Lägenheten är som visas i listan. Köket är välfylt med allt vi behövde laga mat, TV: n hade många kanaler, och det finns en fantastisk utsikt över Firth of Clyde från vardagsrumets fönsterfönster. Det är tillräckligt nära staden att vi promenerade överallt. 0,8 mil till närmaste stormarknad, kanske lite över en mil för att gå hela vägen in till stan. Vi anlände med tåg och Cartsdyke-tågstationen handlade bara om en 8 minuters promenad. Vi var mycket nöjda med vår vistelse.

    A 1000 sq ft loft app redolent of a New York loft and simmilarlly an old industrial building which being no longer in use and derelict was repuposed as dweelings. The architect and developer wanted to make the appts unique and decided to make only 32 homes in a building that could fit 88 average sized 2 bed houses. The result is SPACE. Quite honestly until you exoerence whst it is to live in such a large space you couldnt imagine how different it is. It eithers freaks you out or is sublime. Fir me it is sublime. It is my bolthole from oved crowded Glasgow where my 2 bed flat fits inside the raised TV and rumpus room. The 9 18ft windows flood the whole space with light and thry truly allow the best decorator ever known to be appreciated, Nature. From the river to the Trossach and Campsie Hills the vista is what makes this appt just so special.

    Cats Castle sits in grounds of about two acres on the seaward side of the A814, just beyond the western edge of Dumbarton. It is close to the conservation village of Cardross and about 6 miles from Helensburgh, one of western Scotland’s most desirable towns. Cardross is a quiet village with a respected primary school, tennis club, bowling club and one of the finest golf courses in west central Scotland.   • Stort hus i vacker miljö, perfekt för familjeåterförening som vi har haft här. Huset är fullt av karaktär men fortfarande med alla moderna bekvämligheter som vi behövde. Tänkte först att det kunde vara kallt med sådana höga tak i varje rum men det var inte nödvändigt att oroa sig. Huset var roast toasty hela helgen. Fantastiska vyer från alla rum, särskilt loungen och sovrummet. Det finns mycket att göra i området (även för en grupp av 8 kusiner i 50-talet är de inte vana till sena nätter längre!). Vi hade en stor Spa Day lokalt en dag sedan haft en fantastisk båttur på Loch Lomond från Cameron House på en annan dag. Men mestadels satt vi chilla och träffa varandra om god mat och gott vin i den vackra kattens slott. Skulle rekommendera.

  • Vår familj hade tagit min mamma här som en överraskning för hennes 70-årsdag och hon blev helt kär i stället, vi alla gjorde! Utsikten från windows, log brinnande eld, sovrummet och den underbara matsalen var höjdpunkterna för oss. Katter slott överträffade helt våra förväntningar och vi ville inte lämna! Allt var perfekt och platsen var fullständigt ren! Vinet och shortbread kvar i köket var en härlig liten touch också. Förhoppningsvis kommer vi tillbaka snart !!

  • Kattens slott är ännu bättre än det ser ut i fotografierna - en stor mängd utrymme och vacker utsikt från alla fönster. Gemma och Paul gjorde allt väldigt lätt, ner för att säkerställa att värmen var på när vi kom fram och lämnade en fin flaska fizz i köket. Det är en fantastisk plats att bo för en stor grupp, och vi hoppas vara tillbaka!

    Stylish, cozy and quiet 2 bedroom attic flat on the Main Street of marina village, Inverkip, on the west coast of Scotland. Views across the marina and sea. The marina is about 5 minutes walk away. Close to ferry links to Dunoon and the isles of Cumbrae and Bute. Inverkip has three great restaurants, and two bars, and lies within a short drive of Gourock, Largs, and Greenock. The flat is 5 minutes walk from Inverkip train station, with hourly trains to central Glasgow, 24 miles to the east.
    The flat consists of 1 large living/dining room with TV, comfy seating, and dining table for 4. The bathroom has a shower and bath and heated towel rail. The main bedroom has a double bed and space for clothes in fitted wardrobes with full length mirrors. The second bedroom has a single bed with a single pullout trundle bed underneath so can comfortably sleep two. The kitchen and bathroom have slightly limited head space for anyone over 6ft 4. There is off street parking and a back garden. The flat has recently been fully refurbished (but we are still working on the garden and exterior!)
    The Old Manse is situated in the Marina Village of Inverkip on the beautiful Clyde Coast. The area is famous for its stunning scenery, lochs, golf courses, sailing, maritime history and fresh seafood and is known as the Gateway to the Highlands.

Situated within the idyllic village of Skelmorlie, our 4 bedroomed coach house lies on the West Coast of Scotland with easy access to the City of Glasgow, Ferry Terminal to Scottish Islands and Train Station to travel throughout Scotland.
    The space The house comprises of two living areas, one with dining table which comfortably seats 6, fireplace and access onto a large balcony with stunning views. Both living areas have large flat screen TV. The downstairs bedrooms are access via a beautifully restore hallway room with wooden wall paneling and reclaimed flooring. The kitchen The integrated kitchen is fully kitted out with everything you could possibly need and has access to the large balcony area. There is also a breakfast seating area which is superb to sit at the start of the day and look at the view of the River. The Bathroom: On the first floor there is cloakroom toilet area with plenty of space to hang jackets and leave shoes. Downstairs there are two ensuite bathrooms which have recently been renovated, with tiled flooring, full sized baths and shower facilities. Main Bedroom: This large bedroom area has a stunning Indian Rose Wood super king size bed, beautifully carved mirror and access to the ensuite bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower area. Double glazed doors lead out on to the patio under the upstairs balcony, the garden can be access from here should you wish. Second Bedroom: This generously size second bedroom has been used as a nursery.     Skelmorlie is a village in North Ayrshire, Scotland dating back to the 15th Century. It's a quiet, picturesque little village steeped in history. Most of the old Red Sandstone Mansion Houses where owned by the Merchants of Glasgow, who used to watch from their holiday homes, as their shipments came up the River Clyde. There are many walks locally in the village with Castles near by and Forests to walk through. There is a village shop, pharmacy and pub all just a few minutes walk from our property. Inverkip beach and Lunderson Bay are nearby (8mins by car), it's a lovely walk to make in any kind of weather. Largs town is also 10mins by car and from here you can take the Ferry over the island of Cumbrae, Millport. Where visitors can hire bikes to cycle round the island.
