“A nice walk through a wonderful park (Borghese Gardens) brings you in a few minutes from our home to the Galleria Borghese. Only when you visit one of Rome's fantastic private art collections (there are also Galleria Spada, Galleria Doria Pamphili, Galleria Corsini, etc), you can really imagine where these masterpieces of art really lived and they become much more alive than in any museum!”

“Point zero of Rome. Beautiful square with the whitening Botticino marble Altare of Fatherland., the Vittoriano. From here starts Via del Corso, 2 km long, which leads to the beautiful Piazza del Popolo. Also from here the Fori imperiali road which leads, in 5 minutes walking, to the Coliseum. Important Vittoriano museum usually with famous painter exhibition.”

“If you prefer modern and contemporary art, I recommend this museum built in the 2000s and dedicated to contemporaries. The MAXXI, National Museum of XXI Century Arts in Rome, designed by the architect Zaha Hadid and managed by the MAXXI Foundation of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage. A little far from my home but worth it. There are buses that take you right there.”
