You will learn about coffee the way we do and you will help us in the different processes to get a good coffee at home, ofncourse dependind kn the time of the year you come. You will work, cook and learn all you want about Cuba and our way of doing things,Come you with a sac of positive energy, and enjoy peacefull, fresh air and the enviroment with us.

We’ll walk from Plaza Mayor to the top of La Vigia Hill. From there you’ll have a beautiful and unforgettable view of Trinidad City, Sugar Mills Valley nearby, the mountains, and the Caribbean Sea. It will be an excellent opportunity to get away from town and get closer to nature. This is a chance to take great photos, exercise, and feel the history and culture of this small town from a different perspective. During the hike we will talk about the landscape and people of this city while we enjoy the beautiful sunrise. Other things to note Wear suitable clothes and shoes for hiking. I recommend bring insect repellent, kneepads, ankle pads, and a small bag or backpack for your belongings.

Hiking Life in Cuba
Our tour starts just in the heart of the city, we ́ll visit some historical – religious – cultural – and social, important and interesting places, well preserved through out years and centuries. We ́ll get into the city till its limits, we ́ll walk by the streets and visit some old slave markets. Later, we ́ll get into the Sugar Mills Valley to visit and see farms and sugar mill ruins, a living witness of the independence war against the spanish colonialism, you ́ll have the chance to take excellents photos of country landscapes, we ́ll make our own route and will talk about those used by the African slaves to run away from the sugar cane plantations. The first one is about 4.2km(2.6 miles) to get into the forest, where we ́ll take a rest for snacking. The 2nd part is about 2.1km(1.3 miles), having some stops to talk with the farmers, visit their houses and also to know their way of living at the mountains. We will see our national bird - Tocororo, besides another birds, reptiles, trees and flowers. Just at the end of the tour and for relaxing, we ́ll swin in a waterfall natural pools and we will come back in a very fabulous american car, of the fifties. Other things to note Our hiking experience has the characteristic of being an educational tour, with the possibility of knowing our customs, traditions, social situation and natural areas protected by our country.
History and Art in Trinidad
We will visit the historical center of the city of Trinidad starting from the point where the town was founded in 1514, we will visit historic buildings dating from the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries, we will learn the history of the village in detail while we walk, its culture, art and religion. We will analyze architectural styles and construction techniques of the colonial period, methods and strategies of conservation and restoration put into practice both by the Cuban government and by owners of some of these valuable buildings that today are private homes, some of themes we can visit because their owners are my friends. We will visit the main art gallery of the city that occupies a state historical building, as well as other private (if you are interest) ones inside and outside the historical center, we will meet artists with an original work, disconnected from the touristic, commercial or souvenir market circuit, in their homes or private workshops not open to the public, as many are my colleagues and friends, we can share their experiences and talk about their work as we see them work.

Revive memories of Trinidad Sugar Mills
From the meeting point, tour takes a panoramic ride from the city to the lookout Point over the Valley, around 10 min from town. Here guide will introduce historic and cultural facts to clients about the Valley (15 min visit). Most of all historic issues relating the valley with the city, its importance for the economic flourishment that the village had in the 18th century. At the same time passengers will enjoy a magnificent view over the valley. Time for pictures. Continue the ride till San Isidro de los Destiladeros Site, where clients will have an specialized guided tour to learn about this magnificent just discovered site. Who built it? When? Sintiendo Santa Clara
Le ofrezco la experiencia de conocer Santa Clara desde un punto de vista diferente. Conocerá cercanamente el folclore y las costumbres de Santa Clara y su gente mediante un recorrido por lugares de interés. Puntos históricos más explicación profunda desde mis conocimientos por el estudio de la historia y los testimonios de quienes han visto esta ciudad ser vanguardia en las artes, la historia, la lucha por los derechos de la comunidad LGBTIQ+, el derecho animal, la diferentes vertientes religiosas, el apoyo a la ciencia y la técnica del país, y el desarrollo de emprendimientos de carácter privado en una isla bloqueada económicamente por más de 60 años. El recorrido es mayormente caminando ya que Santa Clara es una ciudad pequeña. Los sitios a visitar se arreglan y se coordinan al momento de contactar conmigo. Este tour incluye una botella de agua y un cóctel, jugo natural o café en negocios privados dependiendo de su preferencia. Taste the real Trinidad
From the meeting point, walk to the commercial centre, Cespedes . Guide will give a historical background of the area. Walk to Colon Street and Alameda street to the oldest street, Calle Real to discover the hidden treasures of the historic center, a stop at Plaza Mayor. Keep walking along Calle Real to Jigue Square, foundational spot of the village. Guide will give you a historical background of the area. Walk up to the Romance Museum, entrance fee and guided visit included (if available) to discover how the colonial upper class used to live with decorative elements of the Romance Period. Visit to the iconic Casa de la Musica to enjoy traditional live Cuban Music combined with an optional refreshing drink (Trinidad Colonial) Visit a local Colonial house while walking along the living museum area of the city. Interact with the family and enjoy a homemade coffee. Visit Santa Ana Square to see the ruins of this important church from Colonial Times and its old prison, turned into a Brewery today. (10min) take a rickshow to Yamy´s workshop, on Calle Maceo, a women´s right defender, show a distinctive form of art that already portrays Trinidad´s Art. Guide will talk about that (15 min) Walk up for some blocks to Mata´s studio museum (15min). This iconic son of Trinidad that is known as a Night Painter will welcome you to explain all about his work. It´s time to enjoy the city cocktail canchanchara at his patio. A caballo hacia cascada en Trinidad
El paseo hacia la cascada, comienza en los límites de la ciudad de Trinidad, y es necesario atravesar todo el Valle de los Ingenios, caracterizado por una gran cantidad de ingenios azucareros que datan de los siglos XVIII y XIX. Es un recorrido lleno de bellos paisajes e interesante historia, así como de la cotidianidad del campesino lugareño, que preparan y ofrecen tragos como el guarapo, una bebida procedente de la caña de azúcar y el bien conocido café, el cual es preparado utilizando los métodos más tradicionales de la época. Enjoy Caribbean sunset in Trinidad
An American Car ride around the coastline near Trinidad. Background aboutfishing industry in town and its importance, growth, how it helps the local economy. Visit La Boca Village on an old timer and visit a fisherman house for explanation on how fishermen´s life at the Villa works. Clients will see instruments, gear of the local industryand, if lucky, see the catch of the day Some free time to explore and take pictures. Interact with any of the fishermen to hear their stories and taste a sample of a home made cevichewith local crackers and pure rum, just the way fisherman do. (about 1 hour). A road drive bordering the south coast to enjoy the beauty of this scenery, until Ancon Beach. Enjoy the iconic local drink: Canchanchara, made of honey, firewater and rum. All this while watching the sunset, one of the most beautiful ones in Cuba. Beach time(1:30h) Relax sitting on the beach, taking pictures or a swim at the most beautiful beach of the south coast of Cuba. Take a ride for 10min to Casilda Fishermen Village, another important location for the fishing industry in the area and where the only port of the city still works. En mi experiencia estaremos visitando varios lugares de interés histórico y cultural, interactuaremos con personas locales y con una mezcla de historia y tradición nos lanzaremos hacia la cotidianidad de quienes pueblan la añeja Villa de Trinidad de Cuba. En un recorrido atípico en el tiempo, comenzaremos por el centro de la ciudad, más cercano a nuestros días, para luego andar las calles y adentrarnos cada vez más en el paisaje urbano, su arquitectura, sus costumbres, su cultura, museos, su comida, la religión afrocubana y el día a día del trinitario. Más allá de todo esto, no faltará la recomendación de los centros nocturnos más visitados para los diferentes gustos e intereses. Visitaremos también el Café de su elección, para degustar de una bebida tradicional, que puede ser en mitad del recorrido o al finalizar.
Recorrido Histórico
Realizaremos un recorrido en bicicleta (opción en auto deberán pagar 15 euros cash extra) por los diferentes sitios históricos de la ciudad, lo que estará acompañado con una narrativa por parte del anfitrión, que les ayudará a revivir lo sucedido e imaginarse como eran y funcionaban los sitios a visitar en aquellos momentos de revolución. Estos sitios son donde se libraron las principales batallas en la liberación de Santa Clara. Exploraremos museos relacionados con estos sucesos, la figura del Che y sus compañeros de Batalla. Haremos una interesante parada en un bar-museo donde degustaremos un mojito criollo. Visitaremos el mausoleo, lugar donde descansan los restos del Che, el museo Ernesto Guevara, la Plaza de la Revolución, el museo del Tren Blindado, la estatua del Che y la Loma del Capiro, punto más alto de la ciudad donde disfrutaremos de una impresionante vista panorámica de Santa Clara.
