The Caraubas beach is a tranquile place where you can have the beach to yourself. If you would like some more movement it is quick drive to the Maracajaú beach where you find various restaurants and small shops and there are also places to learn to surf, go on tours etc.

Maracajaú
The Caraubas beach is a tranquile place where you can have the beach to yourself. If you would like some more movement it is quick drive to the Maracajaú beach where you find various restaurants and small shops and there are also places to learn to surf, go on tours etc.
Barra de Maxaranguape is a bigger, but still small place, close to praia de Caraúbas. Here you will find more movement, more stores to buy food ro fish or bread or a swin suit and there are some bars and hang around places, especially by the beach. There is also a nice mangue in the Rio Maxaranguape where you can take as wim right next to the beach that is also perfect for surfing (like many beaches in the area).
Barra has a nice church to have a look at and typical Brazilian town-feeling.
Barra De Maxaranguape
Rua BarraBarra de Maxaranguape is a bigger, but still small place, close to praia de Caraúbas. Here you will find more movement, more stores to buy food ro fish or bread or a swin suit and there are some bars and hang around places, especially by the beach. There is also a nice mangue in the Rio Maxaranguape where you can take as wim right next to the beach that is also perfect for surfing (like many beaches in the area).
Barra has a nice church to have a look at and typical Brazilian town-feeling.
Parks & Nature
About 2,5 kilometres from the house you find Lagoa Peracabu, a really nice little lagoon closeby to the beach. There you can relax in sweet water or go for a walk on the sand dunes or on the beach and swin in the Atlantic see. On holidays there are also small places to buy somethng to drink or to eat.The view is stunning and the water delicious! On normal days you can have the lagoon all to yourself.
Lagoa Peracabu
About 2,5 kilometres from the house you find Lagoa Peracabu, a really nice little lagoon closeby to the beach. There you can relax in sweet water or go for a walk on the sand dunes or on the beach and swin in the Atlantic see. On holidays there are also small places to buy somethng to drink or to eat.The view is stunning and the water delicious! On normal days you can have the lagoon all to yourself.

In the small center of Praia de Caraúbas you find a couple of basic grocery stores where you find most basic things you need, including alkoholic drinks and what you need to do make yourself a nice Brazilian "churrasco" - grilled meat.
You also find a drug store and a local small fitness gym as well as a few juice bars and food trucks and ice cream stores. Opening hours are somewhat limited so make sure to go there in time.
Caraúbas Beach
In the small center of Praia de Caraúbas you find a couple of basic grocery stores where you find most basic things you need, including alkoholic drinks and what you need to do make yourself a nice Brazilian "churrasco" - grilled meat.
You also find a drug store and a local small fitness gym as well as a few juice bars and food trucks and ice cream stores. Opening hours are somewhat limited so make sure to go there in time.
Everything Else
the closet relaly big city from the house is Natal where you find absolutely everything you cannot find in Praia de Caraúbas or the other small beaches up north on the cost. If you are nto familiar with the state of Rio Grande do Norte and Brazilian cities, a day visit to Natal city could be a nice trip to go on. You will find touristic beaches (like Ponta Negra) and shopping centers (like PRaia Shopping for example), cinemas, great restaurants and all kind of amusement for the night and night clubs.
You drice BR101 from Caraúbas directly to Natal for the fastest trip or go by the smaller streets alongside the beaches, RN306 and RN303) if you want to pass all the beaches on the way.
