Popular swimming place due to the amazing stone-formations in Treungen. About 1 hour 15 min drive south of the cabin. (You can search for “Jettegrytene Treungen” on Google maps to get directions) The last bit is private road so you have to pay a small fee for driving and parking. The upper part close to the parking is great for smaller kids. Has a nice beach and some smaller puddles for them to play in. But be careful because the stoneground can be very slippery. Further down is great for bigger kids with waterfalls, natural slides and big ponds.

Fjone-ferga is the smallest ferry in Norway and is in traffic between Sundsodden and Fjone. The ferry is operated from May - October. On the Fjone-side you find beautiful sandy beaches right by the pier - so you don’t even have to bring the car. Sundsodden is located about 15 mins drive south of the cabin.
