Unbelievably delicious pizza, but I LOVE their Chinese Wonton Salad (of all things, ha!) This is another local hangout that is fun to visit. Great outdoor patio.

OK, a little pricey, but if you're celebrating anything, this is the place. Tucked away in a spot the tourists don't usually find, this restaurant has a beautiful setting-- especially when the Wysteria is in bloom. Great food. But, yeah, expensive.

These guys are definitely a place that nobody visiting knows about. The restaurant is at the back, and downstairs, and has the most delicious seasoned fries and burgers anywhere! Really good prices, too! Locals love it.

This is a sports grill tucked away at the Ojai Valley Inn. GORGEOUS surroundings, top notch. We go here to watch the Super Bowl almost every year. Love their homemade potato chips, which are bottomless. Food is a little pricey, but we usually split something cuz we're so full from the chips, ha. Just walking to the pub from the parking lot is worth going. Sooo beautiful, especially in the evening!

Love their homemade potato chips, which are bottomless. Food is a little pricey, but we usually split something cuz we're so full from the chips, ha. Just walking to the pub from the parking lot is worth going. Sooo beautiful, especially in the evening!
No trip to Ojai is complete without eating breakfast at this throwback diner. Absolute sweet people work there, and the food is very good. Great place to go before walking through the town.

BIKING... the best!
Ojai has such a great bike trail that meanders through the town, and beyond. If you're game, it will take you all the way to the beach in Ventura. Such a fun ride! And then you can take the bus back up to Ojai if you want (since it's uphill going back, ha). You can start the trail off of Fox street (a light), taking a left off the main drag. Park your car just before reaching the Athletic Club and it's right there.

Don't miss the Sunday Farmer's Market! Opens at 9am
You'll find the Farmer's Market (called Ojai Certified Farmers Market) on 300 E Matilija Street in town. Great selection of freshly grown veggies and fruits, flowers, and they also sell homemade gifts.

The Historic Ojai Tennis Tournament
In town the last weekend of April? Gotta grab some tickets to the 120th annual Ojai Tennis Tournament. All hotels sell out as the town fills up with spectators and players from all over. The Ojai hosts the Pac-12 championships, the Community College championships, an Open Division, and junior events. Great action held over 5 days. Their website is TheOjai.net.
