Wineries near this area are plenty, including the famous La Motte, Boekenhoutskloof and Eikehof Wines. The town has many art, curio shops and eateries. On nearby streets, quirky stores sell vintage fashion, upcycled furniture and antiques. (Wikipedia). Gentrifications is evident here but it makes for an amazing experience. Do hold on to your belongings such as fancy cameras you leave unattended while you gaze on the scenery. It can be snatched here easily. But it is worth a great visit.
Every outing does not need to cost you money. If you drive out to Blaauwbergstrand (“Blue Berg Beach” in direct translation), you will have the opportunity to see Table Mountain from the other side.
