Everything Else
The Norwalk beach charges a hefty sum for cars to enter the parking area, but you can walk in for free. So I recommend if you want to drive to the beach, park in the area of Cove Marina where my boat is located. The entrance to the beach is at the end of Beach Road. Before the street dead-ends, there are two driveways on the right. Take a right into the first driveway - that is, the second to last driveway before the beach entrance. This is not the driveway next to mini-golf. It's the driveway about 1/10 mile before that. Walk into the beach from there. In summer, there'll be lots of parking. In colder months, many boats come out of the water so no as much parking.

Metro-North Railroad travels to NYC, Boston, New Haven, Washington DC and points north and south.
Shuttle from South Norwalk train station goes to ASML in Wilton.
Norwalk Transit bus goes around Norwalk.
East Norwalk Metro North train station. Goes from New Haven to New York City.
East Norwalk Railroad Station
