Cheap and perfectly tatsy asian fusion! The venue is not luxurious, but when they decide to play serene french folk songs or brazilian bossanova, there is no place I'd rather eat! The staff are delightful as well!

A proper pub-restaurant situated in the cellar of the finer ground floor restuarant with the same name. Here you can eat wraps, stews, toast, salads and various snack inspired by swedish cuisine, while enjoying an ample variety of local craft beers.

Inexpensive and delicious italian food! Often very full because of its popularity, but nevertheless worth a try. Kafé Spesial's pasta dishes and pizzas are unmatched as far as I'm concerned (and they have the accent on the "e" the right way on - that's a good sign!)

This place is where you can find superior sushi in Bergen without feeling robbed after the meal. Staff is freindly and the venue is nice enough, but if you prefere to eat at home, Cyclo has the fastest take away you'll ever experience. I got my food once after waiting only 5 minutes! Amazing!

They work tirelessly to provide costumers with great concert experiences and setting a particular mood: That of a candle lit and mysterious grotto. Not only that, but the beer pricing ist'n half bad; mostly students come here after all.

Like No Stress, Vaskeriet also make excellent cocktails! Additionally though, Vaskeriet also have a good old dance floor stirred by "Bergen's best DJ's" (according to themselves) at night. By day/evening the dance floor is taken up by two ping-pong tables to be used by early guests.

Sightseeing
Bryggen, being on the Unesco list of world hertage sites, is a must-see in Bergen. The old wooden houses documenting a significant part of Bergen's trading history are very well known across the world; which in turn makes them infamous for luring tourist to expensive affairs. I advice visitors to be wary of the restaurants and shops along Bryggen, though I will not discourage anyone from looking around and buying souvernirs. Just know that Bergen mementos can be found in other parts of town as well.

Nordnes Sjøbad is an outdoor salt water swimming pool situated in Nordnesparken. On hot and sunny summer days, many Bergenians flood to this pool to cool down and gaze at the space of North Sea between Askøy and Bergen. Before or after the lovely dip, you can take a stroll in the park, barbecue or get a tan. The Bergen Aquarium is not too far either if you're in the mood for sea lions and penguins.
