The Hilltop is very elegant and has a wonderful view. There's a fireplace in the bar that you may dine by too!

This is the best restaurant in the county. I once sat next to Robin Williams while dining here. It is unbelievably delicious! Such a beautiful place!

Superb views of the San Francisco bay. sam's is about a 20 minute drive from Novato, located in stunning Tiburon. This is the most beautiful, sleepy, sea side town! it is very high-end with many amazing restaurants, shops and scenery to enjoy!

This is a beautiful winery. You ride a gondola up the mountain to the winery at the top. There is a self-guided tour you take then into the tasting room you go. Absolutely beautiful! It takes about 30 minutes to get there from Novato.

Cline is also a winery AND it has a mueseum of the California Mission system (miniatures of all of the California Missions). They also have a pond with lots of catfish in it & you can feed the fish with fish food that you get there from a gumball machine. Bring quarters ( twenty-five cent pieces for the fish food). Cline is an all organic winery & it is FANTASTIC!

There you have incredible 360 degree views of the Pacific Ocean & the entire SF Bay Area. It is simply breathtaking.
Muir Woods is an ancient redwood tree forest. There are very easy paths put in, many are suitable for wheelchairs & baby strollers too! This is a magical forest, another must see in our area!

Angel Island is a state park, with a cafe there at the marina. You must get there by ferry boat from the town of Tinuron which is 20 minutes south of Novato. Angel Island was an internment camp for immagrants coming to the US from Asia during WW2. It is a sad story, a sad part of our history. There is a tram tour you can take while there & you will be educated on the history of the island. You may also take a bicycle on the ferry & ride your bike on the island for a self guided tour. The veiws on the island are amazing!
