The Historic Ranch House

We have intentionally tried to preserve as much of the ranch house as possible while still updating the house to today’s standards. The most notable piece of history is the Monarch cook stove in the kitchen, the doorways and doors that are not as tall as today’s standards, the original wood floor in the master bedroom and original moulding around some of the doors. The house is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath house with all the amenities from home. We hope you enjoy our little piece of ranch history!

Our place is a 10-min walk to the hot springs swimming pool and close to downtown Salida and the bike path. You’ll love our open house with its quiet neighborhood, pastoral setting and beautiful views of the Collegiate Mountains. Just 30 minute drive to Monarch ski area. We do have a no pet policy at our home. There is a nice shaded area in our back yard and a large deck with a BBQ. The location offers easy access to local skiing, hiking, biking, rafting and kayaking in the Arkansas Valley. We do allow dogs. It is a $100 non-refundable pet deposit for UP TO 2 dogs. Our one-of-a-kind cabin offers a handcrafted odorless hot springs hot tub with an ever-flowing infinity edge and mood setting led lighting. Your private hot springs is located right off your deck. We do not have Wi-Fi, so come expecting to unplug. We have a landline if you need to communicate with anyone.
