Conveniently situated in the Ocala National Forest, this rustic cabin is surrounded by graceful live oaks and is often visited by wildlife like deer, bear & sandhill cranes. Paddle the Silver River or snorkel the springs. Great fishing is around the bend. Note: Historic drought has lowered our lake levels significantly. Our lake is no longer navigatable out to Little Lake Kerr.

Salt Springs Lodge

This home is locally referred to as "The Lodge." It is loaded with rustic charm and tons of trophy mounts, including a full-size gator rug. This house is spacious and yet cozy all at the same time. This home is located in the Ocala national Forest and yet only a half a block away from the park, which includes basketball, volleyball, tennis, softball, shuffleboard, and corn Holes. The caregivers live close by and are very friendly and helpful when needed. NO pets allowed on property.

Located 1/2 mile to boat ramp, fishing pier, canoe rentals and just a couple miles to hiking, ATV/OHV/Jeep trails. 11 miles to Salt Springs swim area, close to Rodman, St. John’s, Orange Lake.

Due to the extreme drought we are in the water levels are too low to canoe or kayak thru the canal to the lake at this time. Other activities include hiking, hunting, fishing, walking trails, swimming, & ATV trails.

Gated resort with access to swimming pools, hot tub, pickleball courts, boat launch, playground, and a dog park (with a dog washing station)! Salt Springs is right across the street, Silver Glenn Springs is nearby. Dollar General, (Salt Springs Pizza) and a laundromat within walking distance. PS: Resort charges a $35 fee for all guests (not per person!) and also may charge extra for boats, trailers, etc... PSS: Bears spotted at the resort, so please keep all food and garbage in the house!
