They built the house for themselves & the 2 apts upstairs for traveling teachers that needed a place to stay. Overall, the house has 3 apts, all w/private entrances. There is 1 larger apt downstairs & 2 smaller apts upstairs, along with a common sitting area in the front & a laundry room in back.
