Feel like you are in the trees, in an area much as it was when inhabited by Cherokee Indians. Stream feeds into Lake Hartwell. In the summer months on the weekends and holidays kayaks, jet skis and small boats visit the falls. This property is in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. It is a comfortable home for healthful recreation and the replenishment of the mind and body, and a wonderful place to unplug. Perfect for singles, honeymooners, couples and young families. This is a two story home with the bathroom and bedroom located on the second floor.

Conveniently located between Lake Burton and the Tallulah River, this cozy pet friendly vacation home is the perfect place to get away from it all. With two bedrooms and one bath, it is comfortable and secluded. Nestled in the North Georgia Mountains, this cottage is easily accessible from the Atlanta area. It features a huge porch with a swing and rocking chairs, a gas fireplace for those chilly Autumn mornings, an electric kitchen, and a fenced backyard for small pets.

Gathering Moss Cottage on Burton

Gathering Moss Cottage is a wonderful family getaway or 2 to 3 couples retreat on Lake Burton. 30 minutes to Helen and half the price! Great views from the screened porch while reading a book or watching the kids play in the lake. Make some great memories at this fantastic cottage. New firepit is in just off the steps leading to the lake. Kayak's are available on site as well as pontoon boat rental from your host delivered to the dock, no pu or drop off.
