The cottage is a bright, spacious, stone faced building. It has an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials you will need inc. washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave etc. The bathroom is spacious with an electric shower. The living area includes a TV and DVD player. There are 2 bedrooms one consisting of a double bed the other has 3 single beds. The property has ample parking. The cottage is not wheelchair accessible

We are 5 minutes to Clare Glens, 10 minutes to Newport town and Murroe Village which hosts Glenstal Abbey, 34 minutes to Limerick city, 30 minutes to the scenic village of Killaloe,46 minutes to Shannon and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. Tea/Coffee and welcome breakfast pack provided on arrival.

Perfect location for enjoying local amenities or exploring the rest of Ireland - 2 hours to most tourist spots.

Cosy Cottage in Nenagh

Moyroe cottage is based on the outskirts of Nenagh on our dairy farm. The town centre with its main shopping street, pubs, restaurants, visitors centre and the Nenagh castle as well as the bus stop is about 25 minutes of a walking distance - 5 minutes by car. The closest supermarket is Tesco with a 5 minute drive. Several access points to the M7 are close by. There are many interesting places to visit in the vicinity. Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
