Thai House

Inspired both by life aboard classic wooden boats in SE Alaska and winter travels in SE Asia, your host, a local fisherman, custom built this modern and cozy home to use every square foot to its fullest potential without sacrificing beauty, luxury, or style. Built from spruce, hemlock and cedar harvested from small-scale local mills, this home is a six minute walk away from beautiful waterfalls and Sitka’s extensive forest trail system. The grocery store is a two minute drive down the hill.

Anchor Bay

Anchor Bay is a brand new construction just steps from the beach. It features 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. It has a fully stocked gourmet kitchen and pantry. There is a new gas grill located outside for grilling. It has a large dining table that seats six and adjoining living room that has an electric fireplace and Samsung frame TV. It has a full size washer and dryer. It is located within walking distance to Totem Park, the Raptor Center, and downtown Sitka, and Harbor Mountain Brewery.

Kasiana Island kayak cabin

Kasiana Island Cabin sits on the west shore of Kasiana Island, 1 mile southwest of Sitka, Alaska. The cabin was built in 2011. This remote site is generally accessible year-round by boat. It can be accessed by kayak weather permitting. Visitors are responsible for their own travel arrangements, or hire me. Guests are responsible for their own safety, and must bring their own amenities. Water is available by rain barrel, A cooler provided and bbq, bring ice. Waterproof boots are a must!

The rental comes with a new Subaru Crosstrek with a dedicated spot. Please note - this apartment is next to a house with a family :)
