From this central location, explore island beaches and wooded island trails. Outdoor fire pit & firewood. Solar dome fans for summer, heater for cool weather. Solar lights inside and out, beefy battery for electronics. Fast internet. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking: stovetop, fridge, sink, water. Host will provide transport from the ferry to/from the yurt.

"The Lair" Guesthouse

"The Lair" is a just recently renovated small 200 square foot cabin with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight. The building is located close to Green Tree Coffee and Tea, a coffee roaster, so the aroma of coffee will be in the air. We located about 400 yards South of the Islesboro Ferry and Lincolnville Beach and 2.4 milres North of Camden Hills State Park and Mount Battie. Free coffee and tea everyday, all day! We are closed for Winter, will re-open Mid-April. Thank you.

The Stilt House

Once the island Trading Post (in the 1820's) now serves as a private retreat on Westport Island. The whole property has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982. The building is nestled at the water's edge, half on land and half on stilts over the tidal waters of the Sheepscot River. The property has its own private deck, island, rocky beach, trails and hammock. This is an old structure - over 200 years old! A great piece of history and an absolute oasis.

Centrally located to local attractions, Pemaquid Lighthouse is 1/2 mile walk.Pemaquid beach only a 5 minute drive. Tiny Cottage sleeps two, with a full size bed or use pull-out couch, efficiency kitchen, and compact bathroom , shower stall. ( 16’ x 20’ square footage) Located with access to tide pools, glorious sunsets!

It’s on the 3rd floor, with exterior stairs, LOTS of steps and quite high up- so not for those scared of heights. Very clean, bright space.
