We are just a 5-min walk from downtown, so you can easily walk to dinner, tour downtown, and check out Rapid City. Sitting high above Mt Rushmore Road, light from 3 windows makes you feel above ground. Our back patio is nice for relaxing, and our location is convenient. This space has soaring ceilings, private uncovered parking, all the amenities of home and is clean and well-cared for. Harriet & Oak is just around the corner (in the same building) and offers a great selection of coffee and food. Close to everything with easy access to tourist sights and main highways. Unfortunately, parties and/or pets are NOT allowed.

Bunkhouse on the Prairie

Enjoy a peaceful countryside stay at our working family ranch. The bunkhouse has separate parking and entrance from the main house. The one bedroom features a king size bed and a pullout couch located in the main living space. The kitchenette includes a coffee pot, microwave and small refrigerator. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with shampoo and conditioner dispensers, and blow dryer. Full heat/AC and wifi. The bunkhouse is attached to our garage but completely separate from our house.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located basement apartment. The Central States Fairground, The Monument Civic Center, downtown Rapid City, and Rushmore Crossing are all within a 10 minute drive. We do have full-time tenants on the property with dogs. Some noise should be expected. The pets have their own dedicated space and contact with the pets should be minimal, if at all. We have one security camera located outside the entrance to the apartment.
