The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Woody

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these cosy wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts are an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Welcome to Heatherbell. The pod is a perfect getaway for 2, with everything you could need and is just 5 minutes drive from Lochboisdale ferry terminal. Heatherbell is a fantastic base for exploring our stunning landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy the splendid sunsets from the decking. In late summer it is surrounded by lovely purple heather which grows freely and abundantly spreading its glorious purple hues across our hills and glens. A stand-alone self-catering cabin designed as a cosy cocoon bolt-hole—a truly intimate and restorative escape. This unit is a compact, snug, and highly functional single-room space that maximizes both comfort and the spectacular surroundings. The main area seamlessly integrates the bedroom, kitchenette, and dining area.: Spectacular Views: A large picture window offers stunning, uninterrupted sea views that can be enjoyed both from inside the cabin and from your private decking area.

Croisgeir Self Catering Pod

A self catering pod in a quiet area, five minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach on the west coast of South Uist. Close to the renowned golf course designed by the old Tom Morris. Great for local Trout, Salmon & Sea Trout fishing and a great base for those who like hillwalking. Listen to the corncrake call from the outside picnic bench. Bicycles can be stored in the shed. Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a ¾ double bed, single bed and a fold-down bunk. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.

Granny Mary's Cottage

Granny Mary's cottage is a tradional croft house situated in North West Skye, enjoying uninterrupted views to Dunvegan Head, Loch Pooltiel and the Western Isles. This cottage has a double bedroom and a twin and has a cosy living room to spend your time watching the wildlife from or just relaxing with a book . The house is located in Milovaig and is within the popular Glendale area of Skye with local amenities, village shop & post office and excellent cafe.

The Isle Of South Uist, part of the Western Isles and located just south of Benbecula, is nothing short of breathtaking presenting stunning, scenery, natural and historic landscape, unrivalled outdoor access and diverse wildlife. This renovated Thatch Cottage is situated in a lovely area of the north end of South Uist and offers a quiet and peaceful location and is ideal for a very relaxing holiday.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set on a working croft with cows and Monty our Bull (he friendly!!) and we will let you met him. There are our sheep to see along with the chicken and the resident dogs Ben and Lewis who love walking down to the beach with you. The caravan is well located is between the hebridean way and the arterial road, with plenty parking space behind it
