The House of Zen is a charming beach cottage located minutes from the Oak Island's Beaches. Relax by the outdoor fire pit in a FENCED backyard that is great for your children and pets! The beach access is an easy drive, walk, or bike ride. We have bikes, beach chairs, lawn games, and a buggy to make the trip down to the beach easier or visit close parks and restaurants. The detached building, Zen Den, has a bedroom set up and an office for those who need a remote workplace for a longer stay!

Downtown Sunshine Cottage and Golf Cart

Charming, renovated cottage, just blocks from downtown. Ride the 6 seat golf cart to shops, waterfront swings, live music, riverfront dining, and spectacular sunsets. Only a 15 min car ride to Oak Island’s beaches & golf. Unwind in the gazebo, play bocce, or snuggle up for a movie by the fireplace. Sleep soundly in plush queen beds. Located just outside of Southport, NC. We are minutes from the beaches and waterfront. Large driveway; ask us about boat and RV parking. Just a short drive to many local attractions, including Myrtle Beach, SC, and Wilmington, NC. Our Guest Suite is completely private from the rest of the house. The home is also on a public golf course. Beautiful views any time of day of the 7th fairway. The suite has a loft that can sleep 2 adults. New this season, a private bedroom with a queen bed.

Oak Island Beach Guest Cottage

If you love being a short walk to the beach this place is for you! . We provide beach chairs and a cart for your 5 minute walk to beach. Eat in kitchen and you can serve your honey breakfast in bed. Farmers market around the corner in the summer months as well as concerts every Friday night, Tennis courts, pickle ball and splash pad in the same area to cool you off. We offer Wi-Fi and Roku. . Gas fire place on back porch. Indoor fireplace use is seasonal.

If you prefer to relax, you can sit on the 10' x 22' deck just outside the kitchen door, or by the fire pit, on a rocking chair or the swing in the open back yard, which is ideal for playing fetch with your dog.
